I just read a response from someone who claimed they were at Shanks in Cooper City Davie last Sunday night. That same night I was also present. This person claimed a fight broke out on the floor. To be honest I was there the entire night and never witnessed any fighting going on inside or outside the bar. I personally know Terry the owner and Tom who bartended that particular night. I did witness someone who complained about the karaōke song rotation. Apparently he felt being he was a new customer there and he should have the opportunity to sing more often then other patrons there. I’m sorry but as a regular customer at Shanks It’s only fair a strict rotation is observed and utilized. I’ve been frequenting Shanks for years and consider this establishment my favorite bar restaurant. The food is great and so is the service rendered. It’s a shame that someone is permitted to write unsubstantiated negative reviews.

My first and last time in this place. Guests were overserved to the point that they were fighting and because the place was understaffed I had to break up the fight myself. We went for the Karaōke and their host passed a hat to play till a normal hour then only allowed her regulars to sing. I ordered something from the very limited menu and they did not have any, instead I was recommended homemade pretzels and they were packaged. NEVERAGAIN

Terri was most hospitable. We happened upon Shank’s by accident and are glad we did. Try the Washington Apple shot!

1st time here. Found by accident after having lunch nearby and wanted some good beer. Limited craft beer list but still decent selection. Little smokey since they allow smoking. Fortunately was on a Sunday afternoon and wasn’t full of smokers. Owner is very nice and place is inviting. I live in Coral Springs and too far ro be a local but would recommend this place. Cant rate food since didnt eat.

Been living right around the corner from this place for years and never noticed it. I decided to check it out after seeing an advertisement for their st Patrick’s day celebration on a Friday night. We got there around 11pm and there was a dj playing a little bit of everything… some oldies and some newer songs. great mix! The crowd was a bit older. I’d say ppl in their 30’s/40’s but they definitely know how to have fun. My boyfriend and I were at the bar people watching. EVERYONE seemed to be having fun. They also do karaōke on fri nights which was fun to watch. Ricky, the entertainment manager, was awesome! He made sure everyone was having fun in some way. He introduced himself to everyone, even us, and bought us a round of shots. Bartenders made us feel welcomed and told us to stay as long as we liked even after the doors closed and everyone left. This place is great! Upon first walking in, we felt like everyone already knew each other and that we were the odd ones out. but after we were there for even 10 min, we felt we were now apart of their shanks family :)
