My husband I stopped by right as they were setting up the bar for the night. We didn’t stay then but came back after we had dinner across the street. Man, the bartender here makes some awesome cocktails. I highly recommend it, the store and bar are a definite diamond in the rough in Cooperstown. Whatever speciality cocktail they have when you go… try it!

Very cool place. Great selection of LOCAL products(and the quality of the local booze is pretty darn great). Wonderful décor – love the tables and lighting. I was there with a pretty large group of tourism people and the owner was a great host. Clearly the crew is very knowledgeable. Sure a lot of the stuff is baseball themed(it is Cooperstown after all) but don’t let that lead you to think the stuff is all hype directed to fans. The stuff is really first rate.

By far the most esthetically pleasing establishment on Cooperstown Main St aside from the Hall of Fame. Mixing a short list of cocktails with Cooperstown Distillery liquors and offering 4 Ommegang bottles. This place has a nicely done rustic feel, with hardwood floors, tin ceiling and slate shelves displaying beverages from various Cooperstown breweries, wineries and distilleries. This was the best bar/retail space I went to while in Cooperstown

Walking down Main Street in Cooperstown it seems every single shop is baseball oriented and all sell the same things. Seriously. The same. Exact. Things. Everywhere. I get it. It’s baseball town. Diversity is still a good thing to think about though! Thank you to the owners of Cooperstown Beverage Exchange for changing up the scenery. What a pleasant surprise this was to find. Only open for four weeks and they seem to be doing huge things already. They offer up a variety of local beer, wine, and liquor. They have free tastings and the guys serving up the spirits really knew their stuff. On top of the booze, you’ll also find great gifts for the alcohol connoisseur in your life or some goodies for yourself. Definitley a great place to stop in and experience the local beverage scene. I stepped away with some Fly Creek Apple Wine but wished I left with a little bit of everything.

Wow! Finally, Cooperstown has a beautiful and conveniently located place to stop in and get a cocktail. The spirits from Cooperstown Distillery are high quality and the signature cocktails are a perfect way to end a busy day in town. They also have a great selection of local wines and beers available to taste and purchase, and the staff was friendly and personable. The Cooperstown Beverage Exchange was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Cooperstown!

An awesome new addition to downtown Cooperstown! It is a hub for the Cooperstown Beverage Trail, and they sell beers, wines, and hard ciders all made by local breweries and wineries, as well as their own hard spirits, a Vodka, Gin, Rum, Bourbon, and a Whiskey, all made by Cooperstown Distillery. The Exchange, as it has been nicknamed, has complimentary tastings all day long of their spirits as well as select members of the beverage trail. The store is also beautifully decorated, complete with beautiful wooden furniture and comfortable lounging couches. A high array of retail merchandise is also available, including Cooperstown Distillery t-shirts and merchandise, flasks, countless high-quality bitters, bottle openers, and so much more. The Exchange is especially extraordinary in that it completely transforms into a cocktail lounge after 5 pm, where retail is removed from the tables and chairs and barstools are brought out to create a very friendly, classy cocktail feel. The signature drinks, that also change very frequently, are all delicious, hand-crafted cocktails made with their spirits. An overall awesome place to visit and to indulge in, a must-visit for all who come to Cooperstown.
