I had the Oh Yea, which is — Lean Roast Beef, American Cheese, sautéed peppers and onions, pesto garlic dressing,

Food is really great – fresh and market prices.(Very filling lunch for 2 was $ 21, including beverages.) And the environment is fun. But as other reviews note, seating is scant. Also, ordering is very, very inefficient and it takes a long time to get your order. Be prepared to stand and wait!

This place makes a good sandwich! I like the chicken melt, and their baked goods are very good as well. There’s not a ton of seating, but there is a decent amount. I always take my food to go though. The staff are polite and friendly. The only reason I did not give it five stars is you always have to wait at least 10 minutes for your food — longer if it’s during a busy time. But I like this place very much.

This is a great place for a sandwich. They have a large, unique selection of sandwiches made to order. Breakfast sandwiches are very good as well.

Charmingly quaint deli with air conditioning. I felt like this place stood out against the other options on main. It’s a solid option if you’re looking for a quick break from the hall.

Great place to drop into for a quick bite and a break from the museum. The Charlotte and Oh Yeah were yummy.

Got the Latin lover and tomato mozzarella salad with drink for $ 22. My rating is directly influenced by the price. Cooperstown or not, when you pay that much for a sandwich you expect quality and craftsmanship and what I received was anything but. My sandwich was 90% generic iceberg lettuce and barely featured any cheese. The whole thing was so slathered in vinegrette that it just slipped right out of my hands. Do not go here, quality is sub-par!

Very good sandwich shop. Limited interior seating and the food is suitable for a picnic. There is no bathroom and the store is not handicapped accessible due to a couple steps leading to the sidewalk. The person working the counter on a very busy July 4th afternoon was juggling a crowd and a ringing phone. She politely acknowledged me while taking a phone order, so I did not feel neglected. I really appreciated the vegetarian offerings being separately noted on the menu. The sandwiches were large — for both the meat eaters and vegetarians in our party. Prep time was somewhat on the long side for our visit, but it was a very busy day.

Awesome sandwiches at reasonable prices. Great to grab and head over to the ball park. Just wish that the lattes were hotter.

Very serviceable lunch spot. Had lunch twice while visiting HOF. Vegetarian chili was very good. Just the right amount of spice. Ruben sandwich was just fine. Pretty fair prices also.

Walked to this deli after visiting HOF. Good artisan type sandwiches. A little pricey but they are large sandwiches. Overall we thought it was good!

Stopped in to pick up some lunch. Purchased 2 Roast Beef and Swiss wedges. They put a very minimal amount of meat on both wedges. Considering each wedge was 9 bucks, I expected a little more. Being from the NYC area I have no problem paying a premium for a good sandwich, but I am also used to a somewhat thick sandwich. Felt kind of ripped off.

I used to work in this area and Danny’s will always have a soft spot in my heart. The sandwiches are delicious and unique. I love the additions like guacamole and sprouts. The bread is especially good. The kids working here are usually pretty friendly. Great lunch spot!

This is a pretty good sandwich shop! I stopped in here for a quick dinner and I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff is kind and the menu is pretty varied. Aside from sandwiches, they offer many different drinks, coffees, specialty foods, and candy. My sandwich was very, very tasty and I enjoyed my coffee as well. If you’re around Cooperstown and you want to grab some sandwiches to go, this is a pretty solid place.

Great lunch place. Really good service. Highly recommend the curry chicken salad over greens.

I came here to get a sandwich, which was decently average. On the minus side, the prices were pretty hefty($ 10 for a sandwich and a cookie?). On the plus side, the sandwich was double the size that I thought it would be, and the chocolate chocolate chip cookie was«the best chocolate cookie I’ve ever had,» according to my fiancé. So… come for the pastries but get your sandwiches elsewhere?

Went here on a recommendation from a friend who’s been here, and I must say, we were very happy. It is not the fastest establishment, but it was worth the wait. We stopped here for sandwiches for our drive back to the island, waited maybe 15 minutes for our sandwiches(only 3). All three us thoroughly enjoyed our food. I forget the names of the sandwiches we got, this is why I need to not wait to do my reviews anymore, but mine had chicken and spicy mayo, and 2 other things on it, and it was delicious. Easily worth the stop.

this place is soo deceiving … it looks cool… and has that deli feel. and they sell awesome stuff(like dressings and funky drinks, cool teas, and rare and fun candies also they make good bread) but getting a sandwich here is a joke half the time. even if you are local. it seems unless the staff is your personal friend, you will be subject to sandwiches made wrong, RIDICULOUS prices(they change all the time and i mean like daily!), small serving sizes of the salads and pre-made foods… again with a high price tag for those too! and i wouldn’t mind the money soo much except my order is usually wrong. and no one seems to really know whats going on .so there is no one really accountable for the mistake when they do mess up . i would tell you to skip this place all together… you can find a better sandwich ANYWHERE in Cooperstown.

This place has my favorite sandwich — the«Latin Lover»(mozzarella, tomato, basil, roasted red peppers and balsamic on freshly baked bread). Unfortunately the service here is like none other I’ve encountered. The people who work here are a bit rude and always seem miserable. The food is overpriced. The store is open when they feel like being open which is extremely annoying. However, I will still deal with all of this to grab my favorite sandwich and go have a picnic near the lake. It’s that good.

Our friend recommended Danny’s, but with a caveat: they might be open, they might not. Apparently they open and close when they want, deliver if they feel like it, and may randomly deny requests. But, in fairness, they warn you on a sign of this quirkiness before you enter. The day we were there, they were out of sprouts, wraps(«until the spring»???), bagels, and pickles! But there are so many sandwich choices(many vegetarian) that it shouldn’t be an issue. The pumpkin soup was a tad watery and could have used some stronger spices, but the sandwiches were excellent. Mine was hummus, roasted peppers, cucumber, and a balsamic vinaigrette on cushiony focaccia. The crunch of the cucumber, spiciness of the peppers, and smoothness of the hummus worked amazingly together. C had«The Godfather”– mixed cold cuts on a hero roll, also delicious. Tasty lunch choice, with a dose of salty attitude.
