So I went and got ice cream for myself and a friend. Well first I walk in and she asks me to wait for more than 5 mins. And then the whole time she doesn’t smile, doesn’t make eye contact. Makes me repeat my order 3 times and then gets both of our orders wrong, even when she realizes they are wrong she doesn’t try to fix it. The only time she makes eye contact with me is when I’m signing the receipt and the glares at me once she sees I didn’t leave a tip… I work in the food industry so I know how to treat customers, this is how you run customers away forever.
The ice cream was good quality and delicious. The store itself was good. Just not the lady that was working.

Great ice cream, but your gonna have to wait aroind 20 minutes each time you come here. Tired of the apologies of «I’m sorry it took so long” — hire the staff you need for goodness sakes! We won’t be back after several years of waiting and waiting. We can drive up the road to Tappys or DQ! W r done waiting.

I love marble slab but this one is bad! It smelled like poop, it was terribly hot inside the store (too cheap to use AC), one of the girl working there was rude and cheap with the amount of ice cream and the amount of stuff you can add to the order. I ordered a pint and got barely one and the girl who prepared my order didn’t feel bad about it. And because of the hot temperature inside the store the ice cream was so melted almost soup like! Don’t go there, go to the one in flower mound they are generous with there dose, staff is nicer, it smells good and it is cold inside the store.

Not sure why everyone else has been giving this place negative reviews but the management here is awesome. I always come in, never having to wait, they are courteous and respectful. The ice-​cream is very rich in flavor, and the mix ins are what sets Marble Slab apart from everywhere else. We even catered Marble Slab for a party we threw and they came and did everything just like they would have done in the store, great people.

The ice cream is delicious but here’s the problem: when we went in the woman came out and just stared at us for several minutes in a very creepy and serial killer ish way. I said hi and she continued to stare, unblinking. She was rude and gruff, snatched my credit card out of my hand and yelled SIGN! Instead of just asking nicely for me to sign the receipt. My boyfriend ordered something random before he had decided just because she was so creepy and mean. I can’t imagine taking a little kid in there. We took our trash home with us instead of throwing it away there because we didn’t want to have to go back in and deal with that Aileen Wuornos styled brand of crazy.

I’m giving this establishment 1 star due to the very poor customer service. My family and I came into this business Sunday afternoon. We stood in the building 10 mins staring at the employee before she even acknowledged we were there. When she finally did get around to taking our order she was extremely rude! Once we received our ice cream we sat down and in comes another customer. The employee suddenly became cheerful, pleasant, and attentive. It was unbelievable to witness the night and day of her attitude. We normally go to the Carrolton location and we were thrilled to know there was on right by our home. Unfortunately I’d rather drive from Coppell to Carrollton for ice cream if it means I never have to experience such a disgusting attitude again.

Well, they’re ice cream. The staff is rude. We got their 15 minutes before closing and they tried refusing to serve us because their counter was off. We still found a few things to order, but then someone started cleaning and asked us to eat outside. It was still 10 minutes to closing and we were not welcome in the store.
The ice cream is ice cream, but the servers were so rude I won’t go back.

Ice cream will always be ice cream. I haven’t had bad ice cream yet so let’s say all ice cream is delicious. What do you weigh your review on? I’ll go with portions and price. They offered sizes range from small, medium, and large. Small is good for one person. The medium and large can be shared.
I got a small mint ice cream with marshmallow, gummie bears, and sprinkles. I don’t think they charge for extra toppings. It’s a set price, small was 4.99! That’s where it hurts besides the calories you just gain from eating ice cream hahaha. This is not an every day treat, it’ll break your bank. My small came out to be 5.40, it was a generous scoop but still.

Nice service, looks cleaner and better than most of other marble slabs… good selections of ice creams. home made and really creamy and tastes wonderfull… worth paying little few bucks more than DQ and other joints. servers are nice and friendly. oo and by the way i had posted a review long time ago. somebody removed my previous rating for this marble slab… I dont know why it has so low ratings. great place for ice creams… worth a try.

I work in Coppell, and am a chocolate/​sweet LoVer!!! There is rarely a line when I go in which means I’m that much closer to ice cream heaven. The service has always been great, and my order is always exactly as I request. Every time I have been in the same lady has been there, and she is always willing to let me taste a few before making my selection. I have vistied other Marble Slabs and the service is rarely as great as the service at the Coppell location. The price may not be my favorite, however this location is always clean-​service has always been great-​and the ice cream is TOTALLY worth it!

Marble Slab, I really love your ice cream. I can’t recount how many times I’ve needed a pick-​me-​up from your Double Dark Chocolate. I’ve had your delicious milk shake, and it’s the base for many of my mixin concoctions (which at various times consists of chocolate chips, raspberries, strawberries, walnuts, pecans, and shredded coconut). But gosh darn it, I hate getting overcharged for your ice cream. I mean it, I’ve caught your cashiers red-​handed on several occasions charging me double for a Tasty Creation.
I’ll keep coming here for the double dark chocolate, but I’ll keep an eye on my receipt.
Interestingly enough, this location also sells a few Indian desserts out of the cake freezer.
