Awesome facility. They have everything you could possibly need in a gym. I go there for the adult gymnastics classes which happen on Monday and Wednesday nights. As a former gymnast I know what I want to do when I go there, so I can be autonomous and the coaches let me play around. My fiancé needs a little more guidance, and he gets all the spotting and coaching he needs. It’s a really fun way to get some exercise. Unfortunately the class lasts only an hour and is a bit pricey, costing me $ 25 per 1-hour session or $ 75/month for one day per week only.(The coaches do let you come in early though). But it’s the best gym in the north DFW area offering gymnastics to adults so I’ll take what I can get.

Adrienne, my 7 y.o. daughter’s teacher, was the sole reason we decided to terminate our membership. Daughter wanted to join so she could blow off some steam and participate in fun recreational gymnastics. Well after 6 months, Daughter hated going to her classes because Adrienne would yell at her if her tumbles and flips weren’t absolutely perfect. If you and your child do not have Olympic aspirations, you might want to look elsewhere like Palaestra. If s/he doesn’t mind getting yelled at though, this place is otherwise fine.

This is the highlight of my son’s week. He loves coming to gymnastics class and he loves the coaches. The 3 year old class is structured. The 2 year old class is more of an open play with attempts at structure. My son did the 2 year old class for a full year and made a lot of progress. When we are at local playgrounds or restaurant play areas, the other parents ask how old he is and often seem concerned as they play the compare game. I’m surprised more parents don’t have their little ones doing this. I specifically wish more parents would put their boys in toddler gymnastics. A foundation of strength and balance will carry over to any sport.
