LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! This place. I have taken my children there since they opened up and have yet to have one bad experience. The staff is over accommodating for all of our needs. For an example, just recently my 13 year old daughter broke her am g gglasses, we went in to just get info and the front desk calls the doctor she saw in AZ to get her current script and then helped her pick out new frames. I believe her name was Danielle. She had my daughter’s glasses done in less than an hour which to me is great because every where else you have to pay a ton of money just for same day service. Fast forward 2 months the glasses break from a basketball mishap, not the quality of the glasses, and we take them right in to get them fixed and we are greeted by the same professional woman who once again went above and beyond to help my daughter. Her glasses were no longer available so she picked out a new pair at little cost and ordered the new ones. Two days later the glasses are done, we got a call for pickup. Once we got there we were greeted by a new face who was friendly and helped the other staff member take care of us, working as a team. Valley Grace made sure the glasses fit my daughter and not only that gave her compliments on them that I could tell made my daughter feel good about her choice in eye wear. I couldn’t imagine a better place to go for eye care in this area and plan to go back soon for my daughter to get contacts. As a side note, the offices are always kept clean and orderly, something i like when i am dealing with my families health care.

My review is not at all about Doctor Reyes. He’s the best eye doctor I have been to and won’t go no where else for eye exams and check ups.
The bad review is of the retail side of eye city. This is the second time I’ve bought glasses there and the initial purchases were great. I absolutely love the glasses and they are not a bad price. But after an incident, my frames broke about a month ago, so I took them in and paid $ 100 (45%) of the original cost of the frames. That was fine, I understood that. They said it would take about 10 days to get the glasses in because they didn’t have the same frame in store so they had to order one, and that was fine. 10 days go by and I don’t have the glasses yet, so I call and they said try again the next day and see if they came in. I gave it 2 days and they still were not there. I call today (3 weeks of waiting) and FINALLY they were in. I go to get them replaced and wait almost 45 minutes just to trade out the lenses. I get them back and they seemed a little tight, and I told the lady that and she said its normal with new frames. So I go outside and take them off to look at them better and I SEE THE GLUE THAT I PUT ON THEM TO FIX THEM ORIGINALLY. So I go back inside and tell her that the glasses I walked out of there with were the ones a brought in and paid $ 100 to get A BRAND NEW FRAME. She said oh, well they discontinued the frame and the send the tiny little piece of metal that was broke off. 1) she just said the NEW PAIR of frames were in 2) a little piece of metal does not cost $ 100 and 3) you could tell she was lying. The glasses are tight, crooked, and just horrible. I paid $ 215 for these glasses initially and $ 100 to get them fixed and they are not even fixed. What she should have done was call me and tell me that they discontinued the frames and either stick with the broken pair or choose a pair that cost the same or less than the ones I got. Good customer service is not given here and they make you feel stupid and uncomfortable. NEVER buying from Eye City again.

I recently took my son to Dr. Reyes for an eye exam. I was very impressed and so was my son. He was very thorough. He explained everything he was doing and why. He has a very calming voice. My son even commented when we got in the car that he liked his voice. The front office staff was very patient and helpful. We decided to try contacts and she was the lucky one to show us how to do it! She was very patient and never seemed irritated. It was past lunch time and I know they were ready to eat something but you never would have known by their demeanor. We do not have vision insurance so it all comes out of pocket. The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be coming back in the future. We also used Eye City next door for purchasing glasses in case the contacts did not work out or if we lost them. They were very helpful and had great positive attitudes. They went out of their way to try and find the exact pair of glasses that my son wanted.

Dr. Reyes did the most thorough job and was extremely clear to understand, no talking at me or above my head. Easiest and best eye exam I’ve ever had! My family and I won’t be going to anyone but him in the future!

The staff here was very polite. We got in on the same day. The doctor was very patient and knowledgeable. I really appreciated all the extra steps they took. I would definitely recommend this eye doctor above all others.

I love this place! They were able to get me in for a same-​day appointment and are super friendly. Dr. Reyes is professional and thorough and actually made an eye exam fun.

Great service, fast informative and friendly. the doctors there are fun and very good at explaining everything too you. Eye city is great eye glass choice. The fact that they also have email text and calling confirmation for their appointments Is great too

Michael Reyes took over the spot beside the eye city for eye exams and eye care. I’m glad he took over as he’s far the best optimistic in the Killeen area. I’ve been here for 10 years and I’ve been to every optimistic in copperas cove, Killeen and heights.
