Owner wrote back to me that some people are never happy & he has never lost in court!
Sent him a reminder that not only did I beat him in court the Judge said for him to clean up their act as he did not want to see him there again (maybe he was there a lot in those days)
To recap, he lies, cheats & steals & I brought them to court & beat them, I do not trust Bev’s Boat Rental for anything & you should not also.

Awesome service!!! Today I met Julie the manager of Bevs boat rental on Tulloch Lake, and all I can say is she was mostly concerned with our needs and type of boat that I had requested. After she discovered the boat I had wanted was out, she did her best to find another boat that was suitable for my large family. Julie even found us on the lake to make sure we were enjoying our vacation and the boat was to our satisfaction. Very professional, recommend them five stars simply on her service. Thanks Julie!

I wish I could give them 0 stars but I have to give them 1. This had to have been the worst experience I have ever had renting. My family an I rented two wave runners… way over priced wave runners! To make a long story short, I was extremely displeased with being charged for false and unnecessary «damage and repair» costs. I would strongly recommend you stay as far away as you can from this place! *BEWARE* make sure you always check and point out any naked to the eye scratches if you don’t want to be charged an arm an a leg!

The boat was a bit old, but it did its job and it was clean. Sometimes it took a few cranks to turn over the engine. The best customer service from Julie, Jimmy, and Christine. Such pleasant staff and very helpful, wanting to make sure we had a good time, which we did. I will come back again.

This place is Garbage. They try to scam you out of your money. Don’t go to them. They are unethical people If I was allowed to give zero stars I would.

The owner of Bevs Boat Rental (Merle Holman) is an unethical business man. I rented two wave runners and had a small accident. I caused a 10“x4″ gash on the hull. The owner charged me $ 95.00 an hour at 22 hours «needed» for repair. I had to insist on an estimate, which the owner reluctantly sent me. The estimate was made by Bevs Boats Rental itself. The labor cost was $ 2,090.00. The material was less then $ 200.00. The crooked part was the owner used his own employees to repair the wave runners. They make somewhere around $ 10.00 an hour. The owner repeatedly told me, the repair cost was at his discretion, as per the contract reads. When I tried to reason with the owner, he told me if I persisted to fight the initial charge, he would charge me even more. The owner, Merle Holman, made a huge profit on my misfortune.

What can I say… This place tried to rip me off. Id give them 0 stars… but they have to get one.
I rented two jet skis for four hours. After bringing them back I wait in the line for 45 min to fill out the remaining paperwork. They call me out to the dock and show me a damaged ski. After arguing with them, for over an hour, that this was not the ski I rented. They refused to refund the deposit on BOTH ski’s.
I wound up placing a fraudulent charge with Citibank. After 6 months, I wound up winning because they never put hull numbers on the contract.
If you do decide to rent there, make sure your contract has a vessel number. Check the rental very closely… make sure an note all marks, scratches and dings or you will be liable for them.
Also, be aware fuel is 2.00 more a gallon then in town and 2stoke oil was 1.75 a quart more then Kragen’s.
