I am so happy to have found a salon in Miami that meets all of my needs! The service at Avant-​Garde is so genuine and friendly. For a busy salon, I was still made to feel important. Monsieur Alex did an amazing job with my full balayage. I told him I wanted more blonde and blonde he gave me. The quality of his work is top notch, which matches the quality of the staff! I officially have a salon and stylist I can trust to make my idea come true and make me feel a little more beautiful :)

ARLEEN was amazing! If you are a blonde looking for a new stylist go see her! It was my first time here and I sat with Arleen to get my roots done, I have been foiling my hair for probably 10 years now and have been to numerous salons and never felt satisfied with anyones work until now. It always makes me nervous going to a new salon because if you are a blonde you know how horrifying mistakes can be. I was panicking looking for a last minute appointment for Christmas Eve and they were extremely accommodating. It is a beautiful salon with very upbeat friendly staff. Arleen made me feel extremely comfortable and actually listened to what I wanted. I have longer hair and am a stickler when it comes to getting a hair cut, I always tell stylist I want just a trim, not even half an inch, and rarely do they listen. Arleen LISTENED! I was very happy with my hair trim, foil, and entire experience. She even blow out and curled my hair for me when I expressed I was nervous about attending my boyfriends family party. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. THANK YOU ARLEEN!

This is my second time doing my hair at Avant Garde with Edwin. Both times I had a «balayage» done and I am in love with how it came out again! I wanted to wait for a second time before reviewing the place, since it already happened that I reviewed a salon thinking j loved it after coming out of the place, but once I washed it and saw it without the curls and the hairdo I wasn’t a fan.
Luckily after a few days of having it done again I still love it!!!
So the place is really nice, it’s always busy, they have good service overall. Now Edwin is wonderful! He listens to what you want and have to say and is honest about his opinion. After listening to me wanting to be a bit more blondish, but still wanting it look very NATURAL, and LOW maintenance a must he proposed the «Balayage» and wow! Just amazing! First time it lasted me 6 months! Awesome considering it is quite an expensive treat to get my hair done here $ 250 with blow dry and tip not included! But totally worth every penny!

Thank you Yasel not only for doing such a wonderful job with my hair but for also for being so nice and patient. There was a confusion with my appointment but all the salon staff was so nice and professional that made me forget about everything else. I recommend Yasel to anybody, I think he the best stylist who touched my hair in a long time.

Went in just to get my bangs cut first time there. I was impressed with the customer service provided by Alexandre he made me feel welcomed beyond belief, and I loved the cut fast to the point and exactly what I wanted I will certainly return.

I first went to Avant-​Garde about 1 or 1.5 years ago with damaged, dry, over-​processed blonde nightmare! Finding the RIGHT blonde stylist who also keeps your hair healthy is nearly impossible. I’ve tried several. I have found that stylist in Marcelo. He recommended the balayage and the color came out incredible! This is the third time I’ve touched up my balayage with Marcelo and the color keeps getting better every time! It looks extremely natural, to the point where you don’t even have to retouch every 3 months like other times. My very fine hair has surprisingly gotten healthier after years of being damaged ever since I came to him. My hair will never see another stylist!

Ask for Arleen! I went in on Sunday Morning (hungover) and she immediately made the effort to make me feel right at home. My bridal shower was that day so I more or less told her to wing it with my hair and make up. Yes, she does both! I don’t remember the last time I felt so beautiful. I’ll definitely recommend friends and fam to her:)

Yasel is the best. The actual salon is gorgeous and has French owners. Please note tip is not included when paying by card. Take care of them cause they take care of you with wine, water and coffee. In addition to expert services.

My hair crisis has been quite the adventure until I walked into Avant Garde. Yasel was my hair stylist and heaven sent! He gave a suggestion and I went with it and it came out beautiful. The ambiance of the salon is also very great, everyone is happy to be there and it shows in their work. I without a doubt will be back when it’s time for a touch up. Extremely happy with my haircut by Yasel! He was extremely professional yet friendly, and his talent is remarkable. With just one picture, he knew exactly what I wanted and framed it perfectly to work with my face and age. I have been to several salons here in Miami, but this has been my favorite haircut thus far. Upon leaving the salon I was already receiving compliments on my bouncy and healthy hair. Already booked my appointment to get my hair colored (this will be my second time and they do a great job!)

She has been my hair stylist at Avant-​Garde Salon since 2000. Let the photos speak for themselves. As a blonde, I am extremely picky about my hair. But, I never have to worry as they use the finest products and have the best stylist. Make your appointment with Elena D. you will be grateful you did. I know, I AM!

After getting my hair done by my hairdresser from back home (west palm beach) for about four years I decided to try out a salon here in Miami. Being that I had not let anyone else touch my hair in so long I was very hesitant about choosing a salon but after reading such good things about Avant-​Garde and their colorist Yasel, I was convinced I had to make an appointment. I came in with a faded balayage which Yasel was able to fix in addition to adding highlights and an ombré. Yasel was just as amazing as I expected, very patient and talented! Will definitely return.

Came in the day before my engagement pictures to have my highlights done. While I was there I had the opportunity to work with Alexandre who gave me an amazing recommendation to go with Belayage and I was absolutely in love with the results! He was so great to work with and can’t wait to go back and see him again!

I’ve going to Vanessa for 4 years. She is an awesome person and stylist. In fact I’ve followed her from one salon to another and recommended her to countless friends who use her. We’ve been blonde, platinum, brown and red… and back to blonde.

Overall, I can’t wait to come back. Not only was I impressed with my haircut and Vanessa’s work, my friends and family have been commenting that it’s the best my hair has looked in forever. It’s ALIVE!
