If you refuse to change into pants at anytime during your stay at The Biltmore Cascade is the perfect place to bikini dine. Located poolside + they bring lunch/drinks under your palm tree. My favorite drink was a tie between Flor Champagne Mojitos and White French Sangria. I also suggest trying them out for breakfast — they have a great selection from healthy eating to French toast of course!

I am a big fan of Cascade and have been there several times in the past. Today I went to the Biltmore Spa for a massage and once my friend and I were done, we decided to have a leisurely lunch by the pool. The ambiance there is always great. Even on an overcast/rainy day, it was so picturesque and serene to dine by the pool. We ordered the jalapeño margaritas. They were made with fresh squeezed lime and agave. They of course had the perfect kick. We ate the churrasco steak accompanied by asparagus spears and thin french fries. The steak was juicy and savory. We shared the fish dip as an appetizer. It comes with a side of chopped tomatoes along with pita bread and crispy bread with olive oil. Both the entrée and the appetizer were really good. We had a beautiful afternoon with quality, tasty food, a lovely view of a beautiful pool and good service. What more can you ask for? ;)

Watermelon salad was delicious. But my grouper ceviche never arrived. Our server — she started out great but then simply disappeared… Gone for waaaay long. Wonderful food generally but servers need better training, esp at a place like Biltmore !?

This place was God AWFUL with service, severely understaffed, took over 60 mins for our cocktails. We got our food and ate it and still didn’t have them. I also waited 10 mins for the manager who did absolutely nothing #biltmorehotel should be ashamed and embarrassed. They need to hire a new manager immediately! Really a HUGE disappointment avoid at all costs! BYOB!

Decided to go grab lunch poolside with my mom at the Biltmore. The view from the restaurant is a very nice view of the pool. We sat right against the water. It is perfect place to go and then head over to the pool and relax! I had the slider burgers that were a special item for May’s burger month. The sliders each had different toppings that seemed very interesting. My mom and I both ended up getting them. They had things such as olive spread, sun dried tomato, artichoke ect. They were pretty good but a little dry. I loved the fries that it came with. They were thin fries which are my favorite! Very nice staff and fast service with a beautiful view!

An Update: Hurrah! The menu has been expanded since I wrote my April 2014 review. The location by the pool is as beautiful as ever, the live music on Sunday afternoons as delightful as ever, and now there are more sandwich and salad options on the menu. The Cascade Grill is back in my heart again. Yes, nothing on the menu is especially spicy or especially cutting edge and the cocktails are certainly watered down. But it is good, and it is generally healthful. The whole family can find something to love while enjoying the ambiance by the pool. It’s the resort life, even if one is just in for lunch.

Judging only the food we ate: For the price you should think twice. Hummus appetizer: one word = bland! It was nothing special for $ 8 …we asked for lemon wedges to add some zest to it. Lamb Gyro– not what we were expecting and were disappointed in the taste Lemon chicken BLT– nothing special for the price either. Overall, service was OK– the view of the beautiful pool, the bottle of pellegrino, the French fries and the terra chips were the best thing there.

Fried calamari, Arayes, Quinoa salad with Shrimp: Everything was merely adequate but not at all special. At these prices, I expect some interesting flavors rather than blandness. I am always happy to pay more when I get more, but unfortunately, the food just does not match the quality of the resort itself. Notice to the Biltmore: improve your offerings at this establishment!

We ordered food while in the cabana. Service is excellent! Food is great. The cheeseburger and fries are really good as well as the whitefish(don’t change the menu & if you do leave the whitefish).

Great view of the pool and the appetizers we had were good. Would have probably been better if they hadn’t taken so long!!!

I love their food here. I eat a completly Paleo diet, and try to eat as organic as possible and they have so many options for me on their menus– both breakfast and lunch. You should know, however, that they don’t really have a dinner menu here… just bar menu after 4:00 or 5:00 pm. Bar menu has slightly more gourmet options of typical bar food, ie. flatbread pizza, kobe sliders and fancier fried stuff. Their fresh fruit mojitos are pretty damn awesome! Your waiter will usually be a suave Latin man with sexy accent, who says«ENJOY!». Great service. Beautiful pool-side setting. It’s called«Cascade Grill» because it has a waterfall cascade that comes off of the building into the pool. The sound is relaxing. I’m surprised to see other reviews that say the food is not worth the prices; I think the prices are very fair! Their ceviche is great with their flaxseed crackers, fyi.

Pleasantly surprised. More often than not poolside grills at hotels are adequate at best. Then again at The Biltmore, this isn’t your typical hotel or typical pool. Granted, the menu is safe more than adventurous, but if you were looking for something more, why are you looking poolside in the first place? There’s Palme d’Or, Fontana, there’s Little Havana and the rest of Miami! The poolside Cascade does what it serves to do and does it well. The Grilled Vegetables in a Whole Wheat Wrap is quite good and flavorful, with eggplant, portobello mushrooms, bell peppers, zucchini, tomato, basil, and gouda. With a side of fresh fruit, I got what I wanted: a light, simple, but healthy meal that tasted really good. Throw in a sunny day, an incredible view of the pool, and a waiter who truly means, «Take your time and enjoy!» I can’t say I have any complaints!

I only eat here because we have such a large credit that we have to use up. It is not worth half of what they charge. The food, while not«bad», has nothing to recommend it except for the fact that you are able to eat it right next to the Biltmore pool. If the pool wasn’t there it would be one star. Better to just get an overpriced drink and enjoy the view and setting.

The restaurant has a very nice view of the pool area. I ate a salad here and was not too impressed. The food was average while the price was above average.

Cascade Grill is by the pool at the Biltmore Hotel. Beautiful setting and the breeze flows through easily. I had the grilled veggie wrap and fries. Both were very good. The wrap was juicy and warm. The look was nice and french fries were not greasy at all. The service was good and I never had to think I want something to drink… Good job!

Fantastic happy hour deal — all cocktails half price. We’re staying at the Biltmore, so I loved getting a poolside drink and snack. I had a version of a caipirinha and my husband had a black cherry margarita. Both were delish. We also shared the crispy blue crab rolls with fruit ceviche which were divine. Planning to go back this evening.
