What a great farmers market in Coral Gables! It truly should be considered to be year round as opposed to three months. It is in a great location and has great vendors. They are open on Saturdays, so it’s perfect to bring the family and splurge on fresh produce and baked goods

Wish this was open year round! It’s a larger farmer’s market and there are definitely some gems here, namely the bread, pastries, and the guy with the smoked fish dip. Good selection of veggies, easier to walk around in than the one at Pinecrest as its a bigger space. Love it!!!

Love this farmers market! Not only I can buy my favorite local jam(Copperpots) but everything else looks soo tempting. I love that it’s placed in an area where it’s not hard to find parking and a little bit away from the hustle bustle of the mile but not TOO far. It wasn’t too cramped either which was really nice and a had a decent amount of seating. Can’t wait to return!

Ever since I started routinely going to farmers market I had to go to one when I came to Miami. I have not been to much farmers market but I’d say this one had the least produce available. I was excited to come here because I’ve been told they sell fruits. I was semi disappointed. I only saw maybe 3 vendors that sold fruits or vegetables. Actually mostly vegetables. The rest were food vendors. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed some of the vendors but I wanted FRUITS!!! Food vendors I enjoyed Conch fritters truck(got addicted to these, the sauce is amazing) Cheesecake Gallery(guava cheesecake was great — raspberry popular-sold out) The bread lady lol(white chocolate(raspberry) & basil was awesome) Guava granola bars(walnut cinnamon was the best) Honey(sticks) which I can get from my farmers market at times is also a plus The boyfriend enjoyed the pickle vendor and the fudge lady lol The prices here is a bit steep too. I got some empanadas(they’re bigger a bit from the original size) but they were okay and for $ 6ea that is a rip off. The conch fritters were the same price but at least it was more satisfying then those empanadas. I also saw something I wanted to try which were some caribbean shrimp fried rice but for $ 10 I think i’ll pass. No wonder 1 tray was hardly touched because of the price. As mentioned this is a large farmers market but be warned, although this was my first visit so not much produce going on. But if I’m in town around Jan-March i’ll probably come back.

Why can’t this be here all year round? I am simply smitten by this local farmers market. It seems to have all of the vendors that frequent other markets around the area but MORE. I like to arrive early on in the day, guaranteeing that almost all the stands are eager to offer free samples. True, it always makes me feel a little guilty when I walk away, but it also has led me to buy things I never would have thought of trying before. Every Saturday you can find a jolly man who sells THE most delicious breads and pastries I have ever had(and he takes credit cards), plenty of fresh vegetables, guacamole and dips, the conch truck, hot sauces, jellies, gourmet pickles, sea salts, sweets of every sort(last week there was a huge school bake sale where you could find just about anything) and prepared BBQ and Latin food, alongside fresh flowers and moderately priced veggie plants. I had to try hard to keep my wits about me and not buy everything in sight. Is it Saturday yet?

This is a pretty large farmer’s market that runs from January through the end of March each year outside Coral Gables City Hall. It runs from 8am to 2pm on Saturdays during the previously mentioned time period. There is a litany of activities– tai chi class at 8am(free), cooking demonstrations, children’s activities, live music, and a lot of great food. There is quite a bit of diversity in the types of food stands that are available here. I am a fan of the pika sauce stand, the smoked fish stand, and the goat cheese stand. This is a very nice farmer’s market. I would definitely recommend a trip.
