Gables Inn

I have stayed here several times while on business trips to this area. I like this hotel, but I will be the first to admit that it is very basic, with no frills, and there is nothing fancy about either the rooms, the grounds, or the hotel exterior.
I have always found the rooms, hallways, office/​lobby and grounds to be quite clean and well-​kept, but again, you must realize that this hotel is not fancy.
It is simply a perfectly good and workable basic hotel. If you are looking for frills or bells and whistles, go somwhere else and pay anywhere from 50% to 2,000% more.
During all of my stays, I have never had any significant problems with this hotel, save for the very minor issue that the Internet WiFi service does not reach all of the rooms with good signal strength. Then again, this is a common problem in many hotels, and during my stays at this hotel, I have always managed to get the WiFi to work, even though it has sometimes taken a bit of effort.
Would I reserve another stay at this hotel if my work drew me back to this area? Yes, in a heartbeat! I would again choose this hotel over all the other hotel options available in this area!

The room was reasonably clean, the location right on 1 in Coral Gables is good, not far from downtown, key biscayne, coconut grove. this is a no frills motel, there is no iron in the room, the «continetnal breakfast» consists of cereal, bagels, juice, and coffee; nothing more. The bathroom door was swelled and did not close properly. this is an old motel. no frills, one stays here for the price and location only.

stay away atleast one mile… from this god awful mess.
dont know where to start. just everything is horrendous.
