Raise your hand if you like going to the dentist. Okay, I don’t see any hands in the air. There are so many things I’d rather be doing than going to the dentist, like getting stuck in an elevator, shopping at Ikea during rush hour, or being stranded in the middle of the ocean surrounded by sharks… you know what I mean?!
But, that was before I met Dr. Marcus. Now, I’d definitely rather go to the dentist as opposed to being stuck in an elevator! It’s all about baby steps and finding that special Dr. who is extremely good at what she does, professional, damn good at customer service, and one who even has a sense of humor and is very down to earth. Not only is going to the dentist a pain free experience but it’s kind of like therapy. I don’t lay down on a long couch while she asks me about my childhood, but we cover some interesting topics in between shots and drilling. I’m getting multiple crowns, root canals and more… not a fun experience, but it’s been great thus far. There has been absolutely no pain at all.
My brother demanded that I go to Dr. Marcus, so that’s just what I did after hearing how much he loved her! I completely and totally recommend her. I’d send my 92 year old grandmother there and my 4 month old niece (oh wait she doesn’t have teeth… you might be wondering which one?! or both?!) My grandmother obviously has teeth, my niece does not.
If you are looking for the best dentist ever, then go and see Dr. Marcus!!!

Let me preface this by saying I generally do not like going to the dentist. My last one hurt me, a lot! I’ve avoided finding a new one or going back to the old one, but it was about time. I did all my reseach, got multiple referals to different dentists, and finally made an educated decision in choosing Dr. Marcus. I was very impressed with the level of care that I received from both her and her staff. They did everything they could to make my visit as comfortbale as possible, no pain! It’s hard to shop for a doctor or a dentist, and its such a big decision you want to know you did the right thing. With the service I received it was obvious I made the right choice. It’s my one stop shop from cleanings to invisiline and that’s what I was looking for, someone who will be responsible for everything. That’s particularly important in Miami because you know if you go to one dentist for the regular maintinence and another for the big stuff they are both likely to screw up and blame it one the other guy. I fully reccomend her, and if you let her know Josh Mungavin sent you she’ll give you a $ 50 credit on your first bill.

I was referred to Dr. Marcus & Dr. Melnick in Coral Gables. My very positive experience with cleaning led me back to teeth whitening and bonding work. I’ve lived in many states in the union and 3 continents. I visited dentists regularly. My favorite dentists are in Coral Gables :-) I would recommend their office and work without hesitation.
