Dr. Lane and his staff are the best! I’ve gone to Dr. Lane for a few years now. Twice for wisdom teeth removal and most recently for an implant procedure. Each time the level of service was top notch. To begin, his entire office staff is very warm, helpful, and accommodating. In my experience with other Doctors offices in Miami it’s rare to find a good staff. Sometimes you find offices with a great Dr. but a lousy staff or vice versa, a great staff but lousy doctor. In this case they were both excellent.
They don’t overbook patients, so you won’t find yourself in the waiting room forever. The staff managed my entire insurance process and called in my prescriptions. The office is well located in South Miami close to Sunset (72^nd ST) and US1.
Regarding the implant surgery, in my case there was a very narrow space for incision. However, Dr. Lane meticulously and precisely performed the procedure. Aside from the smooth surgery, he actually personally called me the same night to check up on me. (He also did this before when my wisdom teeth were removed.) How many doctors do this nowadays??? Bottom line, if you are looking for oral surgeon with a lot experience, a good hand, and high level of service, I recommend this office.

I was referred to him by my dentist back in 2001 to remove my wisdom teeth. He removed all four wisdom teeth (2 were impacted) without any complications. I didn’t even suffer any swelling after the procedure (hooray for not looking like a chipmunk!). I recommended him to a few people and they’ve had positive experiences as well.
I returned to Dr. Layne in 2008 for another oral procedure and, again, was very happy with the results.
He’s very knowledgeable, thorough, and laid back which helps put your nerves at ease. As I told him at one of my post-​procedure appointments, if I ever need to have all my teeth pulled out (God forbid!) he will be the expert to do it!

I was terrified to have my wisdom teeth taken out! But thank God I found Dr Layne! I don’t remember having any pain during the procedure. He gives it to you straight and he is funny. Before the anesthesia took effect I remember him saying a joke. He made me calm. And before I knew it-​it was over. All four of my wisdom teeth were removed and one of them were compacted. I did have pain for 2 – 3 weeks following the procedure but that was because my impacted tooth was on a nerve. I def recommend Dr Layne.

Like 99% of other people, I detest the dentist. The fact that I need to have my wisdom teeth taken out is pure agony. However, Dr. Layne was very professional, thorough, & just plain nice during my surgical consultation so I’m hoping the surgery will be as pleasant as possible
