Where the urban Graffiti creeps up on the clean streets and freshly painted buildings of Coral Gables. 123 San Lorenzo is no different from the other office condo’s in this block long building, except for all the security camera’s pointing at the door. So I deduct something important’s inside.
I rang the buzzer with some trepidation, hello Geisha’s are you there. An attractive young woman answers the door, and I don’t even know what to ask for, except a friend recommended I come here. SHe smiles and welcomes me in.
I found out what 123 San Lorenzo was. It was La Flor Dominicana, and Flor Domininicana makes some damn fine cigars. There they were on display, a man cave extraordinair! However; this is the Miami distribution office, and they have a wall dedicated to sales to the public. La Flor Dominicana cigars go from $ 7.00 to $ 260.00 a stick, there boxes are beautiful and there quality always rates very high.
I bought my friend a box of cigars, got a few for myself, and I’m now looking for his APO to mail them out to the land far, far, away, knowing his his job infighting terror, supersedes mine in retirement.
He was right, I was pleasantly surprised! Hope he will be too!
