Well, to start off, I work in the same building where RDY Laser Cosmetics and Rejuvenation is located. I have visited this facility before to purchase Latisse and since I work in the building, it was offered at 20% off. I came back to receive a consultation for Velashape and I was quoted a very high amount which I could not afford; about $ 2400. I was a bit bummed since the doctor, Rafael Diaz-Yosarev, is well known. Not only is he professional, but super sweet. He’s appeared on Telemundo and has provided services for many local hispanic celebrities. When I saw the deal for Velashape($ 89 per session) and Fotofacials($ 99 per session) on CoupTessa, I jumped right away on them as quickly as possible. I bought four Velashape Treatments and three Fotofacials. If I could have bought more, I would have. I’ll start off with the Velashape treatments. Let me tell you that it worked! I noticed a difference on my outer thighs. They looked firmer. I was very happy with my four treatments. I will tell you that the first treatment hurts the most. Your skin is not used to the pressure of the suction from the vacuum. Also, it creates a lot of heat in order to melt the fat inside your cells. This is not a painless procedure. This treatment is ONLY recommended for those who live a very active lifestyle by working out and eating well. If you are not one of those people, I tell you that you will waste your money for no reason. This is not a miracle treatment. It ONLY helps. These sessions last about 40 minutes each. Now to the Fotofacials… WOW, is all I have to say. I had three session; one every two weeks. Before the treatment, I had lots of blemishes, acne scars, large pores, broken capillaries, and extremely greasy skin. After every treatment, I noticed that within a week, my skin was transforming! Blemishes were disappearing, the size of my pores reduced, less oil was being produced, the redness appearing on my cheeks minimized, sun spots were fading, etc. I couldn’t believe it! I could not understand why after using high end facial products I didn’t see results. Fotofacials are the solution!!! This is a session that you definitely need plenty of time for. First, they put a numbing cream all over your face. It takes about 30 minutes to completely numb your face, so they would apply it on and I would go back to work since my office is on the same floor. I would come back and the Fotofacial session was for roughly 20 minutes. Even though my face was numb, I could still feel the zaps of frequency on my skin. Some areas stung more than others. I guess it all depends on how much numbing cream they put on certain areas. Your eyes are protected throughout the entire process. The only downfall this procedure has is ABSOLUTELYNOSUN! Should you get any sun after your treatment, you invested your money for no reason since getting sun will cause you to get even more spots. The Fotofacials can leave some marks on your face for about a week, but disappear afterwards. One word of advice is to ALWAYS call and ask if they are running on time because every time I had an appointment, they were running behind schedule. If time is of the essence for you, CALL and ask if they are running on time. I can’t wait to get some more treatments here! I love it!
