Awesome! My Aussie had more fun today than he’s ever had in his life. Granted, he’s only four months old, but it was still the best time, ever. Acres of field to run and trails to walk.

If you’re like me and relish in the thought of watching your dog running with nothing but dandelions and the scent of wilderness in his way, then you’ll be pleased to know there’s place for you and your pup. This fence-free oasis offers endless expanses of lush grass, magnificent palms, and even a densely shaded path to explore. There won’t be any sign pointing you towards this«park,» but if you take a look at the map on this here Unilocal page, you’ll notice there’s a large portion of green that extends from Matheson Hammock’s vegetation. And should you make it there, you can park off Old Cutler in a lot. Making your way over to the area, you’ll notice there’s nothing but grass and trees. You’ll find other savvy dog owners here with their roaming canines(usually busiest after work). All are nice and the owners are likely to offer you a friendly nod. If it’s rained recently, I’d recommend waiting until the sun has dried the pastures. Otherwise, you(and your friend) are likely to come back with ample mosquito bites, fur filled with mud, and sopping wet sneakers. The only thing I’ve yet to find is the lake, but apparently there is one!
