For Eyes Optical

After I had a misdiagnosis from an eye doctor I had been using for years, I found that I was in need of a new doctor. I tried a local doctor who took my insurance for both myself and my son. He was good doctor but had a staff that totally dropped the ball when it came to doing the proper testing correctly or at all. To make a long story short, going to this office was a waste of time and money. I was again in need of a local doctor for examinations for myself as well as my family. Afer an extensive search of practices and optical stores, I was lucky enough to find Dr Berman.
I have a eye condition that many doctors do not specialize in. Due to this factor, many practices feel they have the right to overcharge me for treatment. When I was calling local doctors and optical stores, the pricing for my exam as well as the lenses I typically wear was insanely overpriced. I also found this to be true for a regular exam as well. It was getting quite frustrating to find a place where the prices were reasonable and not overpriced, the doctor was credentialed and the service was great.
On my way home from work, I stopped in at For Eyes to see if they could accommodate us. After a long conversation with the woman at the front desk, appointments were made. I finally found the place I was looking for!
Dr Berman is very knowledgeable, caring and friendly. He went out of his way to help me. He explained everything to me. He worked on getting the best lenses for both my son and I. My experience was so positive that I can’t say enough nice things about him.

The store is bright and clean.
The location is great.
Our wait time was minimal.
The prices are reasonable.
The best part? He got me into soft lenses after wearing hard lenses for many years. I can now read and see distance, something I couldn’t do at the same time while wearing hard lenses. It’s amazing not to have to pull out my readers to read close up then take them off to do everything else. I never thought this was possible again!

I was looking for a local place for exams and glasses and I have definitely found it! I found this place by looking on Unilocal and reading other reviews. Right from the start, the girl at the front desk was friendly and very accommodating. Dr. Berman was also very friendly, informative (explained everything clearly) and definitely beyond helpful in finding the best fit for my contacts! The associate that helped me with my glasses was again very friendly and helpful. He did not try to push me into special lenses or insurance as a lot of places have. I couldn’t be happier with my experience today! I would highly recommend this place.

I recently returned to the area and was in desperate need for an eye exam/​contact lens fitting. Based on the great reviews of Dr. Berman I decided to try out For Eyes Optical and was very pleased with my visit. Dr. Berman promptly attended me, walked me through each stage of the eye exam and contact lens fitting, and ran through my options for contact lenses. Dr. Berman has a great, friendly manner with his patients. I don’t have eye insurance but the price for an exam was reasonable at $ 99.

Dr. Richard Berman is a terrific doctor! He truly cares about his patients. I cannot say enough good things about the care I received… THANK YOU!

I have been buying my glasses at For Eyes for at least fifteen years. I usually go to the Boca store because it is close to my office. When I found out they opened a store right in my own neighborhood I was excited to go check it out.
The store is beautiful. It’s large, clean & ultra modern. I was really surprised at how nice the store looks. I am so used to the Boca location which is an older & smaller store. What a difference between the two locations. When I first walked into this store, I just said WOW.
For years now For Eyes offers a 2 for $ 99 special. That always worked for me in the past but this time I needed to change from single vision to progressives. The prices are still excellent & I was able to get my glasses & a pair of prescription sunglasses & still stay within my budget. I was happy about that because glasses can be so expensive.
I had some concerns about learning to use progressives. Bonnie & Shurnett were both extremely helpful & gave me lots of good tips. They also brought me back to this century by finding glasses that were more «2014» than the ones I came in wearing. I have received so many compliments on my new style & I have Bonnie & Shurnett to thank. These ladies are awesome. :)
I have had no problems with my new glasses & I love them. I stopped in the store over the weekend just to have my sunglasses adjusted & both Shurnett & Bonnie remembered me. The personalized customer service I received was so refreshing.
I love this store, the location, the prices & the staff. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because they are closed on Sundays.
This is a great place to find new glasses at an affordable price. I highly recommend this store. Ask for Bonnie or Shurnett, they are wonderful.

There really isn’t an difference in the inventory of this location from other For Eyes locations but the interior of this space and the people working at it are completely different. They are a little bit out of the way for me but I’m completely won over by their great service. They had a problem finding my insurance but never stopped until they got it and everything was great!
