Mae and Maggie are wonderful and do great mani and pedis, however even when you make an appointment, the owner has them take walk-​ins right before your scheduled appointment, causing you to always be taken late. Or the owner will have put you with someone else… Unfortunately, after that happening several times, my friend and I have decided to go elsewhere.

Awesome owners, very friendly and professional! They have a ton of colors and always make sure you’re happy with their work.

I found this wonderful nail shop by chance, and I am glad I did! I always come to Dunkin Donuts in the morning, and never really paid attention. On this particular day, the owner came out, greeted me, and invited me into the shop. So I decided to try them out and had a mani and eyebrow wax done. Maggie did a great job! The staff here is very friendly, polite, and professional.
One of my biggest pet peeve is that the OTHER nail shops seem to lack the professionalism! The most common thing is that the staff are always talking loudly to each other, screaming from the back of the shop to the front, etc! It is so unprofessional, and it’s unfortunate that most nail shops do that. The staff does not talk to the customers, nor do they acknowledge the customers. They usually say, «Pick a color», then say nothing during the entire time that they provide the service, and then they wait for a tip at the end. This practice can be seen almost anywhere at the other nail spas.
But here, at JR Nail, it is totally different! The staff is very friendly and professional. They greet you, they ask you what you want, they don’t try to push anything on you like the other places. They talk to you while you are there getting the services. There was no yelling and screaming in the store! It is always an enjoyable atmosphere when I come here. That’s how it should be — we are all busy, and when we come to do the nails, that’s the little bit of time that we have to unwind and relax, and enjoy some pampering. Oh, and if you have little girls who want to be treated like princesses, bring them here to get their little nails done too!
Another time, when I did not have an appt, they were very generous to walk-​ins. Most places will make you wait, no doubt! Now I see why JR Nail have such a great clientele. If you take the time to treat your customers with respect, then they will always come back. I highly recommend JR Nail Spa. Ricky, Jenny, Maggie, and all the staff there are wonderful!

I get my nails done a LOT and have yet to find a place that I’m a fan of. This place was PACKED when I went in and I just barely made the cut to get my nails done (this was closer to the Holiday season). When I did, the gentleman, the owner, I believe, who did my nails was very nice and they came out great! I got so many compliments on how pretty they looked.
The décor itself is very simple; no frills, nothing fancy. It’s not a place to go if you want to really feel luxurious but it gets the job done.
It’s also nice but not extremely organized. This place is all about the business but can be a little tougher on the customer service side. They were nice enough to me but it’s not a place that will cater to you. It’s good if you just like to go in, do your business and get out.
The only reason I knocked off a few stars is because my pinky nail did chip prematurely a few days later but I was in Tennessee and couldn’t get it touched up for a few weeks. The other nails held up but I was slightly disappointed that one of the nails had chipped so early on. Also, it’s pricey. They charged me $ 45 for just acrylic gel and I don’t think I’ve ever paid that much before. I guess that could’ve been an oversight on my part for not checking first, but the place’s interior and exterior seemed that the prices would be those of a regular nail salon.
Plus tip, it was about $ 55 for my nails alone so I probably couldn’t afford to make it my regular nail spot, but I did get a lot of great compliments and they do try to make your nails look great on the working side of it.

On Christmas Eve, after trying to find a nail salon for over 45 minutes, they took me on a short notice and was able to do an excellent job on my nails.
I am very critical of service as I am in the customer service industry, and I Ricky was an amazing Nail Specialist — providing honest feedback and ensuring my nails were done to my liking. As well as offering me a beverage as soon as I got settled.
They have top brand nail polishes and over 150 gel colors to choose from.
I would definitely recommend anyone looking for an exceptional salon to give them a try.

Went today for waxing, and mani/​pedi. Fabulous service, great people and sparkling clean. What more can you want?

I am genuinely shocked by the Unilocaler’s review on December 3. I have been a loyal follower of Jenny and Ricky for many years since they owned Tran nails, and now that they own JR Nails. I follow them wherever they go!
I moved to Massachusetts 3 years ago, but come down to Coral Springs about once a month and I always go to Jenny for my manicure and pedicure. No one in MA seems to know how to give a real pedicure like Jenny. My mother loved Jenny as well and when she was sick they couldn’t have been nicer and helped her in and out of the chair — always asking how we were all the time. I have natural nails and Jenny does an amazing job.
My sister gets her nails done by Ricky and he could not be more professional or polite. He is always friendly and knows his clients but equally friendly to walk in’s. Maggie is also great. They have a large repeat business as people like myself and family have followed then to their new salon,
They are very clean — they put new plastic bags inside the pedicure tub for your feet, so it’s always sterile– and not just quickly scrubbed out then re-​filled with new water each time. Most nail salons do not take that extra step to prevent germs.
I am not sure what happened that day for that Unilocaler, but I highly recommend Ricky and Jenny and say go — you will be very happy that you did. Whether you have gels, tips or whatever– they are great!

I usually go to the Dunkin’ Donuts next door almost every afternoon. It’s no wonder this place is always dead every day of the week. By far the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to…
I went in for a full set and polish change. I specifically told the man doing my nails (seated behind the front desk) that I wanted short, oval shaped nails. He seem to understand. HOWEVER he obviously didn’t pass Shapes 101 in kindergarten because my nails were far from oval! When I tried to repeat myself in hopes he just didn’t hear me the first time — he says «I don’t want to do your nails. Go somewhere else.»
Are you kidding me? This guy was a complete asshole who lacked customer service & common knowledge.
I paid for my polish change and gladly walk out. I ended up going to TLC Nails on Commercial & University. It’s under new management. The place is clean, spacious & has a wide variety of nail polish. Also, Tammy did a FANTASTIC job! I would recommend her to anyone!

I rarely write reviews, but when I get GREAT service, it is the least I can do! It is SO hard to find good service nowadays. Not only do they do a great job here, but they are the nicest people. They make you feel welcomed and that says allot! They also have a variety of colors which does not happen in allot of other nail salons! They either have no colors at all or the ones that they do have are dried out. I feel like I hit the jackpot with this nail spot. If you have never been here, you have to try it. TRUST ME you will not regret it! :-)

Travel to Florida last month, my local friend took me here… anyway, the moment I walked in I was greeted n seated in nice clean pedicure chair. I got a gel mani n pedi, the ladies did AMazing job. They took their time n produced exactly how I wanted. The prices are very reasonable.

I have come here about 6 times and never regretted it once. I get a French pedicure with white on white and Fanny makes my shrek toes look like princess toes. The ladies here talk to you instead of ignoring you. More people need to know about this place and how good their customer service is.

Great mani and pedi by Fanny I am one picky customer and all I can say is she is amazing :) I am very impressed:) and will be back. She gives an amazing foot massage.
