Great food, nice people, friendly place. Can’t wait to go back, although is pretty far from us.

This place, formerly known as Lima 51, specializes in Peruvian cuisine, specifically ceviche. The service was great and fast. We came in around 6pm and it was empty, but quickly filled up within the next hour. The food itself was great. It was up there with the other Peruvian cuisine I’ve had before, so if you have eaten it as much as I have, it will satisfy you. If you’ve never had it, even better. The décor is simple but nice and it is a smaller restaurant in a smaller plaza. It can be a bit tricky to find. It’s definitely your«hole-in-the-wall» kind of joint, but clean and well managed. I usually have essays and essays to write about food, but my experience here was very direct. No frills, simple, quick and clean. That’s all you really need, right?

I hate giving poor reviews but maybe this can be used for constructive feedback. I went to this place when it had a different name and owner. The food was great. But the last time I went, I noticed they had new owners. I asked the hostess if the chef had remained the same. She told me yes. But by the quality of the food I could tell there had been a change. We had the platter with the three types of ceviche, the causas and the mussels in the spoons. The flavors were off. The food seemed to have unnatural bright looking food coloring, especially the rocoto sauce. The worst part was that the causa was not made with soft yellow potatoes as it should be. It seemed like they had substituted squash or something similar. It was orangy in color and grainy. Plus pricing was expensive for such a place. We felt ripped off. I feel that when you buy a business it is vital that you have a good chef. Don’t know if they have improved or not, but hopefully they will.

Read a review within the Parklander magazine which read The food is EXCELLENT and it was exactly as described. Food is flavorful, fresh with perfect size portions. I recommend their grilled octopus appetizer, fried yucca with dipping sauce, and the trio sampler which allows you to try three different ceviches with fried fish, shrimp and mussels. I’ve returned numerous times with family and friends and all have enjoyed. Hope this local restaurant thrives and remains a pleaser for years to come!

The food here is delicious, we had tacu tacu with pollo saltado, we also had causa, tallarines verdes, ceviche, anticuchos omggggggg soooooo good very tasty on point we liked every single dish we had!!! Their prices are not cheap, they are not the highest either but is definitely worth it I will come here again. Delicioso todos Los platos que probamos, muy buena sazon peruana, los platos no son los mas baratos pero tampoco los mas caros y definitivamente valen la pena. La causa es una de mis favoritas que he probado!!!

I was in Florida for the holidays. My father highly recommended this place, and I had seen an awesome photo on his Instagram of the colorful ceviche in martini places. We came here on a Friday afternoon. It was completely empty which is usually not a good sign. However, the food was soooo good. Make sure not to order the ceviche sampler just for yourself. It’s way too much food for just one person. It’s the perfect amount — or maybe just a smidgen too much — for two people. It comes with ceviche marinated in what I guessed to be grapefruit, orange and lime. It also comes with fried calamari, sweet corn and these slightly popped corn kernals(I couldn’t stop eating those). The restaurant has the unfortunate location of being in a strip mall in an area that has become increasingly more rundown over the last 15 years. Their offerings are good so I hope they last.

I had read the reviews for this place and got the very popular mixed ceviche dish to go… the one pictured with the 3 martini glasses of mixed ceviche with 3 different sauces, all on a plate that has fried seafood on it. It was absolutely outstanding. I mean, out of this world. It came to $ 34 which surprised me, but it was ALL seafood, no filler, and was enough for like 3 people. I got it for myself and it was WAY too much for one person for one meal. I will definitely be back to get this remarkable dish again and to try more dishes. Regarding the restaurant, it was a bit too casual/noisy for my taste. All hard surfaces so noise reflects and makes it loud, even with only 2 – 3 tables occupied by people who aren’t even being all that loud. A more pleasing environment would match the quality/caliber of the food and would make dining in more pleasant… a place that feels more upscale I think, with nicer chairs, warmer tones, etc. It was decorated in a cute way, just not in a way that felt comfortable where you would want to stay for a while.

This was my first time eating Peruvian food and I loved it! I started with the traditional ceviche which was very fresh and had lots of flavor. My main dish was a sirloin fried rice… let me tell you, it was the best ‘fried rice’ I’d ever tasted. Huge portion so I got to enjoy it the next day :) For dessert I tried the flan, fried donuts(!!) and a caramel dish, all of which had their unique flavors. I live in Delray and would make the trek down to Sample just to have dinner here again. 5 stars!

Went here last week. I ordered the tri-colored Ceviche sampler. It was excellent and more then enough food for 2 people. The menu is a bit quirky in that it has some Spanish and some English. And, the descriptions and prices are not clear. But, muddle thru that and you’ll have the best Ceviche in the Coral Springs area.

There is nothing special about this place, in my opinion the food is not so good and I’ve had Peruvian ceviche many times.

My mom and I celebrated 28 de Julio here today and left so happy! We got there before the rush around 730pm. We ordered: * causa sampler– soooo good! 4 kinds of causas(chicken, tuna, shrimp, and salmon) and they were all delicious * leche de tigre– served in a cute mason jar, nothing special just a regular leche de tigre with white fish and choclo * tiradito de rocoto– delicious as well. it was A LOT of food and I couldn’t finish it all, but definitely plan on going back and trying the rest of the menu items. the vibe was nice, good service it’s just kind of hidden –definitely a hidden gem!

I decided to come here while I was out with my son. We both love ceviche and know that Peruvian restaurants are well known for their ceviches. Anyway we found this place in a very small strip plaza in Coral Springs. We found it by chance since we were looking for a different r ceviche restaurant . Milton entering we were greeted by a very nice, friendly, young girl named Alejandra. She helped us sit at a table and then took our drink orders . Then for the ceviche ! We decided to order the ceviche trilogy which is 3 different types of ceviche each in a martini glass, and also accompanied with breaded deep fried calamari, mussels and shrimp. I thought it would be a small appetizer but it’s huge enough for 3 people for sure ! Come hungry. We also tried the mussels which were marinated in like juice with cilantro and red onions. Beautiful presentation and absolutely delicious My advice … Come hungry lol We will definitely come back and hopefully leave enough room for desert, like their passion fruit crème Brûlée which sounds fantastic. Also wanted to add that the décor is very pleasing to the eye and the restaurant is very clean.

The place is OK, the ambiance makes sense to the location. Food is good, nothing extraordinary. We had the ceviche sampler which tasted good, but the sauces were too colorful, which was not necessary. The«Chaufa» rice and the lomo saltado were really good on tasting, portion size and presentation. The prices, however, were too high for the location, decoration/ambiance and the service(a nice and helpful girl lacking of experience or training on how to serve tables). I may come back if I’m in the area but they definitely have to revise their prices.

Excellent. I had a ceviche in yellow sauce and an order of anticuchos following the waiter recommendation. Fish was tender and with great flavor. The portions were very generous. Definitely recommended.
