Great place to grab a bite to eat! I was headed out to do grocery and decided i can’t go on an Empty stomach because that never ends well. Driving by i almost didn’t see this place since its a bit hidden if you’re not intentionally looking for it. I was greeted right away when i walked in. The next thing i noticed was how clean and spacious it was(compared to outside i thought it wouldve been smaller). On to the menu, i saw some really tasty items and decided to try the buffalo chicken gyro. For my husband i asked the server what would he recommend and he gladly told me about the«joker». He explained what it comes with it and it sounded good to me. I believe it came with grilled onions, mushrooms, meat and cheese. We made my order a gyro alone and his a combo. The combo came with a drink and chips. We paid about 20 $ and made our way to the veggie section. These pitas were actually sliced opened and filled with the goodies. I thought it would’ve been topped and wrapped like I’ve seen gyro food trucks do but no biggie. Our server offered us fresh veggies to add to our gyros as well as what sauce we’d like. My buffalo gyro didn’t have much that could be added but more reason to go back and really get to try all those veggies and sauce with a general gyro! We sat down and really enjoyed our gyros. So fresh and delicious with no yellow lettuce in site! We would definitely go back. Price isn’t bad and the gyro really fulls you up without leaving you groggy after a few hours! Great service, good food and clean sitting area!

An average pita at best … Ordered the Prime Rib Pita after seeing it online. This location fails to offer sliced cheese and uses only shredded cheese, this doesn’t stand up well to a Pita. The Roast Beef, or Prime Rib in title, had some gristle and seemed very low quality meat. Lettuce was nice but not super crisp. Sauces are where this location shines. I am not sure how this one stays in business in the location. While it should do well it always appears slow in evenings. Employees are very nice and accommodating. The quality of the offerings from veggies to meats and cheeses need an immediate overhaul.

This pita pit is bomb! Jeff was awesome! He made me an amazing pita and was very pleasant and chatty. He was also very knowledgeable about the company and other locations. Also, this pita pit offers FREEHUMUS. Other pita pits I’ve been to in the past charged extra. Definitely get gyro and add felafel and their Secret sauce is on another level. It is a must have! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is bc I would like to have this delivered and(cough, like jimmy johns) I shouldn’t have to order more than one pita and I shouldn’t be charged overly excessive delivery fees.

very bland lunch had here. reminds me of airport food. i had a chicken pita. the pita wrap itself was fine, nothing special, but not bad. grilled chicken tasted old with no seasonings and had some grisel. none of the vegetables inside the pita were fresh. brown lettuce, very mealy tomatoes, wilted, translucent cucumbers. avocado slices were too firm, flavorless and still had the outer skin on them. tzatziki sauce tasted like sour cream with a handful of pickles mixed in, zero flavor. if you’re one of those folks who thinks anything above the heat level of ketchup is «too spicy», this food is fine for you. for those of us who need more zing, don’t even bother. i gave it two stars and not one because the location is clean and the employees were friendly

I suppose it’s time I up my rating here, given that I visit so frequently. Since my previous review, they’ve also had some staff changes, and now every employee I’ve encountered has been very friendly. As previously stated, I always order the chicken breast pita on whole wheat, and request the chicken to be well done. Last night, they gave me a new suggestion besides leaving it on the grill longer: they said it would cook more while on the grill if they used their«special sauce.» While I’ve been sworn to secrecy on its ingredients(half-kidding here, but it’s basically like a vinaigrette with banana pepper juice), I decided to be adventurous and try it that way. ASKFORTHIS! It was SO good! It gave the chicken just the slightest bit of a kick, and was delicious. For vegetable toppings, you can have regular shredded lettuce or spinach, plus a bunch of other options. There are several cheeses from which to choose, including cheddar, pepperjack, and feta. And they have a TON of sauces… from tzatziki to mustard and pretty much everything in-between. They’ll also happily give you a sample to try before you commit to putting it on your whole sandwich. I’ve never visited Pita Pit when it’s been busy… although I am usually there fairly late since I come here after the gym in the evenings. At least when I’ve come here, I’ve only had pleasant experiences with employees who assure me that my ordering isn’t too weird ;)

It’s always good– whether you’re looking for a feast or trying to stay healthy and count calories– they can accommodate. They have a cool tool online that lets you build your own pita so you aren’t blindly adding on too many calories so on a healthy day you can easy get a huge meal in a pita for 320 calories or less, or if you’re really counting, you can do without the pita and just do it salad style. The have a buffalo chicken one that’s delicious and the souvlaki is heavenly as well. The cheesesteak is very good if you tell them not to overcook it… and on healthy days you can get it without cheese. They constantly have coupons available and an app that lets you order ahead(as well as doing so on the site). The staff is always super friendly although many are new, they are fast learners and keep you engaged. I’m on an interesting eating schedule and this place fits in perfectly with it. Toppings are unlimited! I believe Wednesdays is double the meat for $ 1 day We gladly frequent this place weekly :)

I’m glad I came here today. I have been wanting to try this place out for a while. I’m not a fan of fast food, but this place made me feel less guilty about not eating at home. My daughter liked it too. Oh, and the Mango Tango smoothie was delicious!

So initially my wife says she wasn’t a huge fan of the Boca location. However this isn’t Boca! These are the mean streets of Coral Springs… Anyway, I had chicken souvlaki pita forgoing the tzitski sauce. I’m sure I spelled that wrong. I got avocado double spinach and ancho chili sauce and it was AMAZING! Going back 100% tomorrow. Might get two of them bad boys. Oh I also had provolone & some parm cheese.

Have been here about 10 times and every time it is consistently good. Very friendly staff and they know the menu well. Always impressed by how fresh the vegetables are and on how clean they keep the restaurant, will definitely be returning to this location.

Went here for lunch and had the svoulaki chicken pita and it was really good. You can choose what toppings you want and there are many choices. I gave it 4 stars because it’s not too economical.

I ordered two pitas to be delivered to my place of work. they did not come with the toppings I asked for, and when I called back to have this issue resolved all I got was a huge attitude from the assistant manager. he proceeded to argue with me about what I had ordered instead of dealing with the issue in a professional manner. you can’t even make a sandwich right and then you’re going to argue with me about it? WHAT A JOKE. absolutely ridiculous and garbage customer service. you have lost an entire place of business as customers.

Love this place! I always get the tuna salad pita. It’s delicious and consistent. Tons of fresh toppings and sauces to put on your pita. One tip — Tell them to not partially unwrap your pita if that’s not your thing. They wrap up the pita like you’d see at any sandwich shop then they tear open the top and hand it to you. First time I saw this I thought the girl was going to take a bite out of my pita and prechew it for me! I asked her to re wrap and leave it wrapped.

This was a favorite on the go spot of mine years ago, and I was so excited they opened one up in Coral Springs! We went there when Pita Pit first opened so of course everything is clean and brand new. The employees were nice and asked us if we have ever eaten at Pita Pit before. They told us all of the fresh toppings we could get after we chose the pita we wanted. I like that you can get unlimited toppings too! I ordered the philly cheese steak on a whole wheat wrap. It was tasty and filling! If you are looking for a fast on the go meal I would definitely recommend stopping by the Pita Pit in Coral Springs!

This is our new favorite place! We just started our diet a few weeks ago so we’ve been eating really healthy. If we eat here we don’t have to feel guilty. We found out about Pita Pit through Unilocal,so thank you Unilocal! We’ve eaten here the past two days, Friday and Saturday, it’s that good. We’re lucky we live right up the street from here. The place is really cute and clean. The staff is very friendly and they work fast and efficient. They don’t stand around and talk and bs around, they are focused on their jobs which is cool. They have a decent size menu, so far we’ve had the steak and cheese philly and the awakin with bacon breakfast pita. Both were really delicious. There are other menu items we want to try but right now were addicted to their steak and cheese pita! They have a veggie and condiment area where you can pick what items you want on your pita. The staff there runs this area like an assembly line, they are really organized. If you are in the area of coral springs on sample road then stop in to pita pit. The pitas are super good, filling, fresh and overall healthy. You won’t regret it!

I love coming to this place! The buffalo chicken is awesome! I get it on white with roasted red pepper hummus with romaine. I add jalapeño, pepper jack cheese and jalapeño ranch. It is usually pretty quiet if your looking to have a quiet moment out of your hectic day.

Pita pit… I wanted to love you… but it just wasn’t all there for me. I stopped in to grab a take out lunch after a day of shopping. I ordered the club pita which had turkey/ham/bacon that they chopped and put on the grill. I then chose a variety of veggies to add in. You can ask them to put any of the veggies on the grill with the meat, though I didn’t. What I liked: The pita bread is delicious and it’s fun to watch them stuff and wrap it Everything is included in the price, you don’t have to pay extra for hummus or guac They have tons of sauces to chose from Veggies were all very fresh Calories are printed on the menu and you can go to the website for full calorie customization One pita is a pretty large portion What I didn’t like: As other have mentioned the meat was not the best quality(though my dog loved getting pieces as I pulled them out of the pita) I wanted it to be hotter overall(temperature wise) Overall I didn’t hate it, and I think if I do return I would get a veggie pita and get some of the veggies grilled as well as have them melt the cheese. If I remove the fact that I didn’t really like the meat I could see myself going up a star. The staff was friendly and $ 8 for the pita and chips considering the size is a decent value.

When i walked into the restaurant everything looked very appealing, clean and organized but then things turned for the worse. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki and it was very disappointing. The pita bread tasted okay and the other ingredients tasted fresh, but the chicken was rubbery and greasy. I don’t know how it’s possible, but the chicken was scarier than Subway’s.(LOL) Perhaps I just got a bad batch of chicken, or the Earth wasn’t properly aligned with the Stars, but I doubt it. Maybe if they start using higher quality of meats it would have been a better experience. I can honestly say that I expected a little more from a $ 7.00 pita warp. I wanted to really like Pita Pit and was excited about a new establishment opened up in the«The Coral Landings Plaza III». To bad it did not follow through on my expectations. Maybe I will give it another try after other« Unilocaler!» post newer reviews. Cheers!
