Subway

Pretty sad Subway location. This store is in a new bldg right next to a weight loss store… you think they’d be on top of their game. Came it at 6 pm. no guacamole, only a few semi stale cookies, very low on chips and no ice tea! Pretty bad! Looks like this owner needs to go back to management school!

Second bad experience in a row. The first time I went there, we discovered a dead roach on the bench of our table.
Today, at 12:30 pm on a Saturday only 1 worker was on shift. We stood in line for at least 10 minutes before ordering. During the wait, we noticed a sign on the soda machine stating that it was out of order and no soda or ice were available. On top of that no one had even bothered to brew iced tea as an alternative. They did have a half empty cooler with bottled soda and water in it but the selection was crap.
There chip selection was also crap.
Once it was finally our turn to order, the girl told us they were completely out of turkey, pulled pork (their current special) and every kind of cheese except for provolone and cheddar (which she didn’t specify was SHREDDED) so I ended up with a cold 6″ tuna with shredded cheddar on top. Meh. Not cool.
Apparently, whomever is in charge of stocking this place and maintaining the equipment is doing a terrible job. In a poor attempt to apologize the girl stated, «I’m not the one who opened today» basically pointing the finger at her inadequate coworkers or manager.
Next time I’ll brave the Walmart traffic at Turtle Run and go to the Subway over there. I’m done with this location. The only reason we went there over La Spadas is because of the kids meal. Totally not worth it.

It ain’t LaSpadas any fool knows that, but for the price Subway always hits the mark.
I’m a sucker for the old style Subway stuff, the Seafood sub and the Cold Cut Combo are my favorites. Why do I like it you say, well it’s seafood that isn’t really seafood and mystery meat that comes in the original Subway style of preset slices stacked up in paper. Would you like this toasted? HELL NO! Give me my Subway cold baby:) They way it should be.
This place is always clean and the ingredients are always fresh. I always go here or to the one at Royal Palm and University Blvd. Both provide good food and service. One thing you can say about Subway is that there product/​service is pretty consistent wherever you go.
