Coram Diner

Been going to this diner since I was a kid, absolutely love it. My husband and I try to go there at least once a week. Stuffed cabbage is amazing, and I’m addicted to the Greek salad.

Food is ok, its a diner. Milkshakes are great though. Slightly overpriced. I’ve been disappointed twice with my food but now I know there are certain things I shouldn’t order. I stick to breakfast or a salad.

We went to Coram Diner last night the food was out of this world, the BEST ever!!! Our server Niko was Awesome, Niko was very friendly and helpful. They give you a lot of food for your money. We’ll be going back again and again.

We used to frequent this diner because it was local for us. Suddenly the food went down fast and we stopped going there. Recently, we needed a quick meal and stopped in. What a turn around!!! We aren’t sure if they changed chefs but the food is back to being delicious! We always try something new and haven’t been disappointed. I highly recommend the stuffed cabbage and my husband even enjoys the steak special. The staff has always been friendly. Back to being regulars!

Ordered a chicken parm hero but had to return it bc it was so rubbery you couldnt even cut it. Returned it to get another one only this time it was RAW!!! Returned that one and got an entirely different meal with the impression it was free. Got the bill and was forced to pay it… but only because the cops were called. I was so unhappy with the food and the customer service. Will never ever eat there again! After what me and my friend went through you’d think they would have been a bit more accomadating. Ive never seen chicken served as flesh. Save your money. go to applebees!

Great place, very friendly be great service. We go for breakfast all the time

…merely because I happened to have a surprisingly decent meal I’ll throw them a couple stars; I didn’t like the location nor the type of customers and 9 things out of 10 were a disappointment but, my order, was surprisingly decent diner food; I even had some great service. This experience is few and far between though.

The food is 2 stars overly salty soup, mushrooms with fishy crab stuffing. I deducted a star because of the raw sewage smell in the parking lot. I won’t be back

A horrible extablishment with horrible owners mean people in general stay away deserve no stars

Came here for lunch and food was just terrible as well as the service. Waiter was friendly but just wasn’t on top of his job talking to other staff members and busy on the phone instead of attending his tables. Fries was awful as well as the burger I got they need to upgrade with a chef cause the multiple time I’ve gone its been the same results and I’m done giving this location chances best of luck.

A diner is a diner no matter where you go. This particular diner has awesome challah French toast and fresh fruit to top it off. The staff is nice and the wait isn’t usually too bad. I usually call ahead and take my order to go– it always comes out great.

Never disappoints at being disappointing!
I have already pretty much taken them off my list but I worked an all nighter at work and wanted to have some breakfast before I headed home and went to sleep. Second bite into my eggs a 14″ hair was in my mouth. How do you get hair in over easy eggs. If Cleanliness is next to God well then the Coram Pond Diner resides in hell.

truly abyssmal, i use to go there years ago and use to enjoy it, not anymore, i recently took my son there for lunch, the waitress (maria)) was horrrible devoid of any ability to smile or to get the order correct, i ordered the chicken marsala and my son ordered the chicken cold salad platter, the chicken marsala was very small, the sauce was pure salt and the chicken was tough, the spinach and rice was disgusting!
my sons platter came with the not expected hair in it, need i say more!!!
what i found amusing was that there was a pretty young lady sitting at the counter, who was talking to the owner, suggesting that they get new signage, to improve business, maybe they should concentrate on running a better restaurant, cleaner, with a properly courteous staff. with all the choices i have, i can guarantee, we will not be back, neither should you!!!

I have been going to this diner for several years, but lately the service and food have become terrible. My most recent visit was yesterday server was training someone which is not a big deal yet one of our appetizers was cold and had to be sent back, then the baked potato was cold. I had ordered an iced tea when we got there she never brought it yet it was on the bill. This is the second time that they have tried to change me for something that I never received. There are much better choices for you to go to. I won’t be going back 3 out of my last 4 visits have been poor

I had dinner with my son there just yesterday. The waitress didn’t bother to check on us, I had to go tell her to give me take away containers and the bill. Due to trying to rush to get home, because of the snow, I didn’t look at my bill closely. The next day I saw that not only did she not bother to ask me about the dessert that went with my meal, but she also charged me for the coffee that was supposed to be included with my meal! I immediately called and talked to an old man who immediately started arguing with me and then hung up the phone on me! Needless to say, I will never go there again!

The most disgusting place to eat. There was hair on 3 different peoples plate and when we asked to speak to the manager he told the waiter that if we wanted to speak to him we had to go up to him. When we confronted him about the hair he said that we were just trying to get out of paying. We told him that if he wanted to go to our table we will show him the hair in the plate and then the manager tried to physically attack my cousins fiancé after cursing him out in greek. We obviously knew what he was saying being that we are greek ourselves. He kept saying I know about you type of people. I have never been so insulted and disgusted. This is the worst dining experience I’ve ever had!

No stars. Waitress did not bring pickles and said I resembled her neice from Greece. She wouldn’t bring me anything I asked for. What’s the point of having a waitress if they don’t bring you anything you want? I’m offended. She also didn’t speak English and I ordered a banana daqari and it was so gross I couldn’t even drink it. I really don’t like it here.

I have NEVER seen a manager walk away from a customer during an unresolved situation at a restaurant or any family of business!
Awful experience with management and advise no one that wants to be treated with respect to go here.
My dad ordered the $ 27 prime rib special. He received the sides/​salad that came with the special. Then the main dish came out and my dad was not able to cut it. He asked the waitress if she can take it back, she also agreed that it was inedible. He then ordered a $ 10 gyro.
We received our check and only our 2 $ 2 iced teas were taken off. We went to the register and asked the hostess for a price adjustment. The manager came out and said the drinks were taken off and was defensive right away. I said that we still need $ 13 off ($ 27-​$ 4= $ 23, and gyro was $ 10). The manager argued that my 60 year old father had eaten the salad so he wouldn’t lower the price. I told him that yes, my dad ate the salad because how could he have predicted that his main course would be inedible. The manager had a bad tone and continued to argue.
Then manager then walked away!
I told my dad to walk out without paying, but he ended up handing over his credit card because the waitress had been nice and honest.
The whole way home I was upset about the situation knowing that the manager will not be affected and I felt so taken advantage of.
Worst experience at any diner and restaurant.

Slow night, so service was quick. Menu is a bit over-​extensive. Staff was polite. We ordered the turkey burgers, and they were moist & well-​seasoned. Diane ensured that our waters were quickly refilled (love when that happens!) & cleared plates as soon as we were finished.
Ordered lemon pie & chocolate cream pie to go. Awesomeness in a styrofoam box! We will DEFINITELY return for the pies alone.

A group of 8 of us went in there last weekend. From the moment I walked in I simply had a bad vibe of this place. Needless to say, after our food arrived not even 5 mins into our meal my buddy finds what looked like a water bug cooked in with his bacon. The rest of us instantly stopped eating and only half of us had eaten more than half our meals. Feeling disgusted we all got up and went to the cashier where this elder gentleman who I am going to assume was the owner handed us a check for a little over $ 95. Amazed that not even one meal was deducted we refused and made it clear that half of us had not eaten half our meals and that they should simply deduct those meals if not the entire check.
Well maybe this Elderly Moran has no clue that sites like Unilocal exist and someone should tell him. The hostess was clear when saying that the kitchen staff cooks with the door to the outside open because of the heat in the kitchen so the possibilities of something crawling into the kitchen and making it to your table are very good. She also said «this happens all the time in all types of establishments» DUH we know that Ms Hostess but if you want to keep your customers and prevent them from writing reviews like this then just maybe you should think of treating your customers with a little more respect and comp their food and quit the excuses. And while you are at it, convince that Eldery Gentleman that just maybe adding an AIR CONDITIONER in that kitchen will help those poor workers and give them a reason to give a damn about what they put out of their kitchen.
MY ADVISE IS IF YOU STILL GO TO THIS PLACE AFTER READING THIS MAKE SURE YOU COMB THROUGH YOUR FOOD BEFORE EATING IT!!!
