This was the worst airline I have ever experienced. The flight attendant in the back was rude and hated everyone in her section the poor flight attendant in the front tried to help but could only do so much! I had been traveling with a baby and needed to use the restroom, we were going on 4 hours of travel and had been on the plane for 30 min from take off, she quickly slammed the door and told me to return to my seat. I informed her that I have flown enough to know when it was, and was not acceptable and we were approaching cruising altitude and she barked back«I told you to sit down» with her hand on the door. My wife was a flight attendant so I have had my fair share of flights but to slam a bathroom door in someone’s face and tell them to sit down is not acceptable.

After all my bitching about United Airlines, their fees, and how I ended up flying on a subsidiary airline, I have to admit my experience on Shuttle America actually was pretty good. Shuttle America operates code-shared regional flights for United and they use somewhat smaller regional jets. The great thing about their planes is they’re all 2+2 seating, which means no middle seat. As I’ve mentioned before in my other airline reviews, I’ve been traveling a lot on business lately. We have to use our own booking service, which doesn’t allow us to choose our own seats. It seems like whenever fly on business, I always get stuck with the middle seat. What a relief to not have to sit there for a change!
