I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again. It’s actually the restaurant inside of the DuPont resort, which is also known as the Cumberland Falls State Park resort. Most people that were eating here were obviously staying at the resort. We were staying at the Cumberland Falls State resort Park campground which was just a short drive up the road. So, the convenience factor gained a star right off the bat. Seriously, if you’re going to camp and you don’t want to bring food it’s very convenient, but if you depend on that and are picky about your food, you might starve to death. My experience was based on breakfast… The buffet, I believe they said was $ 8.99. I scoped it out, but there wasn’t much to it. I opted to look at the menu and then decided on the breakfast burrito. The menu, didn’t mention that it included tomatoes, and low and behold tomatoes were in it. That’s not a huge deal, but tomatoes hate me, especially in the morning. So, if you order off the menu and have a food allergy, don’t go by ingredients that’s listed in the menu, clarify with the waitress. I didn’t mention it, nor did I complain, I just chalked it up as a lesson learned. The veggies in it weren’t cooked but they were warm, as was the entire burrito. Overall, I enjoyed my choice, otherwise I would’ve rated it a two. My husband originally opted for the buffet, but after he got one plate and everything on it was cold, he too asked for a menu. He ended up ordering The Work omelet, which came with toast and potatoes. The egg was runny in the center and the potatoes were cold. He ate around the edges of the omelet and his toast… so he left hungry. I felt bad about that because I lapped up my burrito. The service was slow. I think the waitress was waiting on the entire restaurant… on a Saturday. If you’ve ever eaten at a State Park resort restaurant, then you’ll probably find that they are all similar. The ones that I’ve experienced, all offer a seafood buffet once a month, the décor is a bit outdated, they’ve all had beautiful window views, and they all have the same or similar menu.
