My family and I stayed here during the week while our power was out from a winter storm. We have stayed at other Comfort Suites locations and hoped it was a safe bet. The room was clean and everything worked. The hotel was in the middle of renovations, so things in the lobby were taped off, etc. We did not go down for breakfast the next morning so I have no idea how that was. When we checked in there were no cribs available, which is a valuable asset to us, but not a deal breaker. Staff was professional. My only complaint is that the mattresses were desperately uncomfortable for my husband and I. We both have back issues, so they may not be a problem for others.

The room was replete with little problems on arrival. Toilet Paper in the bathroom had less than one sheet left on the roll before expiring. Granted, there was a spare roll already in the bathroom, and I’m all for conservation, but it seems a little silly to have to interrupt your normal business almost immediately after beginning to replace the roll. The clock in the room, instead of the time, displayed a warm green glow. I guess to comfort you into knowing that time was still passing, but not inform you of what time that was in the continuum. The AC decided to run when IT wanted, and was not governed by any setting or desire YOU might have for it. Being able to hear a guest walk in the room above you is completely and totally unacceptable. And what the heck is the deal with the tiny square pillows. Does anyone DESIRE a bed filled with tiny square pillows that you have to somehow smoosh together to create one whole pillow? The Marriott does this too so I can’t specifically blame Comfort Suites for it, but I just don’t get it. Edit: My Girlfriend informed me that I, an everyman, was being unnecessarily cruel to the big corporate hotel chain in my review. The staff was nice, and the beds did support your weight as your slept in the sea of little tiny square pillows. So I am adding a star.
