Let me start of by saying I bugged Jimmy for a good two weeks with a list of questions before I finally decided to submit my deposit and sign the contract. I am so glad I made the decision to go with DeepBlu.
I not only enjoyed talking to Jimmy about song choices and wedding DJ activities, we ended up discussing our love for sky diving. Very personable and very reliable. He kept me in line, worked with my schedule, was able to get all the music we requested (this was a multicultural wedding-​2 different cultures and languages + American). All in all i cant say enough great things about DeepBlu. I am so glad I chose to go with them as my DJ.
Blake actually DJ’d my wedding-​sooooooooooooooo nice. He is just so cute and was so friendly, I would wave at him on the dance floor and he was up there having fun, playing songs, jamming along. I couldn’t have asked for a better night.
I am by no means a girly girl, I am not the girl who has been planning a wedding since I was 5. I had maybe 5 months to plan this wedding and it was PERFECT!

oh… and did I mention i am out of state? so, he not only had to coordinate with me, but he also had to coordinate with my mom and dad. talk about skill– he drove out to them, talked to them, planned with them, and the reception couldn’t have been more fun.
My husband and I did not sit down the whole night!!!
I actually asked Jimmy to help me out with a few song choices and suggestions.
And he made a killer remix to the bride march (that’s what i call it) with a harley davidson motorcycle revving the engine.

We chose DeepBlu for our wedding after reading many positive reviews in wedding publications. However, I was left completely dissatisfied with the DJ services we received.
What was done right:
–DJ showed up and had functional equipment
What was not done right:
–Left out a bridesmaid and groomsman from our wedding party intros.
–Introduced us (Bride & Groom) while someone else was walking out.
–We altered our first dance track and gave it to the DJ beforehand, and he played the wrong one. We had choreographed our dance for a month and it was ruined.
–Played the wrong track to father-​daughter dance. Also a choreographed dance that was ruined.
–No announcement of toasts.
–No announcement of cake cutting (although DJ says he announced three times, yet my wife, my best man nor I remember hearing it, and many told me they didn’t see us cut).
–MANY requested songs not played.
–One song was actually played twice.
Look, mistakes happen, I get it. But this list is egregious and caused us to lose several special moments that we will never get back. So considering our horrible experience I called the owner to at least give him a chance to make it right. We agreed to a substantial yet fair refund, but was then called back to have several of our event issues be either blamed on me or deflected to other parties, then he used that as an excuse to slash the refund we had agreed to by hundreds of dollars.
I will never use DeepBlu for any event I organize and will certainly not recommend them to anyone else. If you do use them, good luck… I hope they don’t ruin your wedding.

I was lucky to find Jimmy Harris as a DJ about 6 – 7 years ago and he has DJ’d our company Christmas parties ever since. This guy is amazing. He is so much fun and can make just about anything happen. We play games often and he even shows up prepared with background music for our game time. His wish is your command. I would recommend Deep Blu Entertainment to anyone!
