Disclaimer: this review is not about the quality of cleaning services, but about the type of person the company hires to schedule the cleaning. When you first call the number, you will get the cell phone of a man who at first will sound very professional and obliging. If your experience is anything like mine, he will be «away from his schedule» and will need to «call you back». Sure, no problem at all! Except, he won’t call you back. You will call him the next day to follow up, and he won’t remember anything about you. Once you explain everything again, he will schedule a cleaning time for you. Except, he won’t actually schedule it. (Despite the fact that you send a confirmation text with your name, address, and the DATE AND TIME of the «scheduled» cleaning.) You will spend hours in the morning preparing your home to make it as easy to clean as possible, doing laundry and dishes and putting all your things on the bed so the surfaces are clear. You will wait for an hour for them to come on the «scheduled» day, and they won’t come. You will call the company and they will say oops, we forgot to schedule you but guess what? We won’t charge you the extra holiday fee for having them come tomorrow! Excuse me, what? How absolutely gracious of you. What a sham of a company. I wasted a whole day for them, but I won’t do it ever again.

My overall experience with Memphis Maids was great, dealing with Steve (the owner), Christina (the original scheduler), and Elizabeth (the maid). There was a little bit of a miscommunication at first, which I’m sure is a rarity, but it was QUICKLY resolved by Steve. It was a pleasure doing business and I will gladly give Memphis Maids my business from now on. Everything is clean and tidy at a fantastic and competitive rate and I am an extremely satisfied customer.

Went away for the holiday and wanted my house clean when I got home, so I called Memphis Maids. Wow, they did a fantastic job. I have had many housecleaners over the years, but this one is by far the best. They even went out and cleaned my screened in porch, and this is December — it was dirty out there! Not only was the house cleaned to my expectations, but it smelled good too. How nice to come home to such a sparkling clean house. They are also very competitively priced and a pleasure to do business when. Highly recommended.
