Austin’s Shoes

Recently my chiropractor, Dr Nate Alexander, recommended I purchase a pair of Brooks athletic shoes. (Beast for Men and Ariel for women).
Within a couple of minutes being inside the store a rather tall, yet very helpful and friendly employee asked if she could help. She indeed was very helpful.
I have bought many shoes in my life… put them on, if they don’t bind then they MUST fit, right? This employee taught me that there is a particular way to try on athletic shoes (tapping your heel on the floor 2 – 3 times when you put the shoe on). Standing flat footed your big toe should be inside the part where the mesh toe cover and the plastic decorative piece meet.
She also tried very hard to find a pair in my size that was on sale, but the closest was ½ size too small. So, for customer satisfaction and the politeness of the employees I give them top rating.
As far as the shoes themselves, I was limping for years. After only wearing these Brooks shoes for 1 ½ days I stopped limping. As far as the price, they were right inline with various websites, minus shipping costs and no personal interaction.

This is a fairly large shoe store located right in town. They had such a great selection of many difefrent brands of shoes. Ugg’s, Yellow Box, Nike, Adidas, from casual to athletic, rain boots, snow boots and of course cowboy boots. They also had handbags and wallets, belts, and athletic clothing with some jackets.
The store is organized well, good service with by far the best selection in town. You can not walk in here without finding something. The prices are high because of all the designer brands they carry but they frequently have some great sales going on.
My favorite section was the the rain boots, and casual boots. They also offered some really cute sandals. My only complaint would be their dress shoe’s. Most of the dress shoes were out of date and style. I would say if you need some shoes you must come here because they have the best selection in town.
