IHOP

This used to be a great place to eat however I’ve walked out the last two times I’ve been due to inadequate service. They always have a steady flow of customers but never have enough servers on hand to provide any type of quality service. Both time I walked out after sitting for extended amounts of time without ever being greeted by a waiter. Both times people waiting longer than myself had not been helped yet either. I’ll probably never go back to this location and I live in lake Dallas.

Come on its I hop. At this location they had free WiFi but I couldn’t stream videos for my child. Service was good restaraunt clean staff nice attitude

Good place to stop with friends after church and spend more time with. I had sirloin tips and eggs with hash browns. The sirloin tips were tender and tasty, and the eggs were done to perfection of my choice. Although they were not very busy I appreciated that the waitress kept our glasses filled as we spent time catching up on our friendship.

Server was dumb. Asked if I could order 1 piece of french toast for my four year old. «Nooo. There’s not a way to do that on the kids menu». My response? «OK what about al a carte?». Her, «oh yeah we can do that.» Ugh. Really? Just accommodate your customer and don’t make it difficult. Kids chocolate milk cups had milk all over outside of cups like she had spilt it on the counter and not bothered to wipe them off. Just sloppy. Food was mediocre and slightly warm. Won’t be back.

It had been years since my last visit to an IHOP. I decided this weekend would be a good day to introduce my 8 year old to the old school smiley face pancake. We met some relatives at the Corinth location for breakfast and man am I full.
There was no wait to seat 5, the waitress was pleasant, and the food was good. I got really excited when I saw chicken and waffles on the menu so naturally that’s what I got. I was not disappointed. Chicken strips and a Belgian waffle cut in fourths is pretty straightforward. Add some honey mustard and syrup and magic. I’m not saying it’s gourmet by any means, but it was good. My 8 year old enjoyed the smiley diabetes pancake and everyone else seemed happy with their meals.

It’s IHOP. You pretty much know what to expect. BUT they have increased their staff recently & their service has improved significantly! Food came out so much quicker. Our server, Lance, was on top
if everything. He saw my kiddo eating pancakes with his fingers so he brought more napkins. We had never seen so many servers in the restaurant at one time. Give them a try and see for yourself!

I went to IHOP today with my son. Seeing that he had to go to work we didn’t want to miss a Thanksgiving meal. The first waitress that greeted us was very attentive. My food was brought out by another waitress. I ordered the Thanksgiving meal but my food was cold. I told the waitress that the food was cold and if she could warm it up in the oven. She told us that they don’t have an oven and that she could microwave it. I said how do you cook it she said well its frozen and then we put it in the microwave. My son and I were shocked. I said fine. The food tasted like frozen food. On top of that the waitress got upset and slammed the water glass on our table. I couldn’t even look at her I was so upset and didn’t want to go off on her. Needless to say I called the manager later and as I explained he started laughing at me. That pissed me off. He went on to say that they cook all the food there but then heat in the microwave before being served. How the heck is that if the waitress said you don’t have an «OVEN» fool… Never again IHOP. I hope the eggs you serve aren’t cooked in the microwave!

Had to edit the review. I have just experienced my last visit to this ihop. 20 minutes to order. Server acted like I was a problem for being there. Food took another 40 min. Server acted like it was my fault. When asked why it took so long she blamed the kitchen and ignored my complaint that we didn’t get all of our order. She promptly argued with me and asked if I wanted to speak with the manager. I did and she offered an excuse and tried to take care of us. It’s a shame because we go to breakfast as a family every Saturday morning. This location will never get another penny from me.

I love the pancakes here and the omelets but the service is sporadic and they can NOT cook French toast here. Multiple trips the exact same thing happens. Not cooked at all on one side then their do-​over is not cooked in the middle. A manager gets involved but the hot syrup requested is now cold and the rest of the table is done eating. Frustrating also bee cause now you’re just eating your sides alone then waiting to eat the French toast by itself.

Food was great when it finally came out! Coffee wad Luke warm… never had this problem before… have visited this ihop many times this was the first time ever had a problem! Will definitely be back!

Good food as always but the service has decreased tremendously over the past year. There is no greeter and you have to wait 5 to 10 minutes to be seated. You then wait another 5 to 10 minutes to be waited on. Denny’s just opened up and my have gotten themselves a new customer… Today was the last straw.

The food was ok I guess but really to expensive for what was delivered to the table

we found this IHOP to be clean, modern, have good service, and food about the way you expect at IHOP. would go back.

As far as breakfast goes, IHOP is pretty much just average quality. Service is Average. Prices are above average. Just an average restaurant. I hear they will be tearing down this location when the new service roads are built, I won’t be very upset at the loss, other than it’s really the only breakfast place in the immediate area.

Might be 4 stars if there wasn’t something wrong with the order every time I stop here to eat. They fix it and offer a discount, but I’d rather my order was correct the first time.

As an IHOP goes I’ve eaten at worse IHOPs (Georgetown, TX) and I’ve eaten at better IHOPs, (traveling across the states), but this one, eh, I can take it or leave it. It’s not my favorite place for breakfast and this is probably, I will admit, because I am a breakfast snob… literally. My husband always gets the blueberry whole grain nut pancakes and they come out to his liking. I always get something with a hashbrown attached to it; like today, the strawberry banana French toast was talking to me so I ordered that and a side of hashbrowns, Everything came out okay, except I was a little taken aback that I only had six slices of banana and some frozen (well, slightly warmed frozen) strawberries strewn across the top. I can get more than six slices of a banana from half a medium one, so I just thought that was disappointing. Other than that, the food was alright, the waiter, Reyanna was extremely nice and it was a little more than what I would have liked to have paid (isn’t everything) for the food. Go there during the off times, as any other IHOP, and only go if you just can’t make it anywhere else for breakfast or if you have kids… IHOP is a great kid’s place.

Regular IHOP food, but we go here often because of their staff. They are very friendly and attentive. Food is always hot and served promptly. The one time (out of many), that we had a problem with our food, the staff was quick to correct it, and apologized profusely.

This IHOP is better than most other IHOP locations. You can expect to see the same staff every time. They are all very outgoing & friendly. Expect the small town ‘everyone has to chat’ feel at this location.
Update — The staff are all fantastic with the exception of one older elderly woman who is incredibly hateful & rude! She gossiped about me when I entered the restaurant to place a TO-​GO order about 20 mins before they were scheduled to close. I could hear her all the way across the room.
Another update — Lauryl is an awesome waitress! She’s always attentive and polite even when the restaurant is very busy. She has a good sense of humor. She knows her regulars and makes sure customers are happy.
