I stayed here a few weeks back while I was in town on business. I prepaid for three nights through Priceline. There are a few reasons I will never recommend this hotel to a friend: 1. When I arrived in my room, I immediately saw mold lining the baseboard around the perimeter of the room. 2. I sat down on the bed for just a few minutes when I felt flea bites. There were fleas on the bed. 3. The carpet was wet with a musty stench. 4. I checked out of the hotel after just one night to stay elsewhere. The front desk girl told me to contact Priceline for a code to give to the hotel manager to grant a refund for the two nights I did not stay there. After talking with Priceline, the hotel wouldn’t even give me a full refund, they only refunded me one night. Although the manager was friendly, she was less than understanding of the circumstances and denied the actual condition of the room. My experience here was added stress to the business trip. I will never stay here again or recommend this hotel to a friend. I’m not sure why the hotel is the way it is, but they are in desperate need of an upgrade.

If you’re lucky enough to get a non smoking room, it’s great. Not luxurious by any means but it’s a clean place to sleep and shower. If you’re unfortunate enough to be banished through the double doors to the first floor dungeon of smoking rooms, you should run, not walk away. We reserved a non smoking room during a busy weekend for two nights. We got in late the first night and found out that they had absolutely no non smoking rooms left(never mind the fact that we had reserved one). So we begrudgingly entered our painfully pungent room. I understand that it was a smoking room, but the smell was beyond words. My nose immediately started burning along with my throat and eyes. Unfortunately, there was no way to open the windows to let the room air out so we were trapped in the stench. We started searching on our phones(huddled by the window for cell signal because their wi-fi was not working) for another hotel that had rooms available but there were none. After entertaining the idea of just sleeping in our car, we decided to try to tough it out in the hopes of being able to switch rooms in the morning. We peeled back the stained and burned comforter to reveal the mostly clean sheets. We could tell that they had been washed but because of the stench of the room, they certainly didn’t smell fresh anymore. We woke up early the following morning and packed all our stuff up after a thorough shower. We came back later that afternoon and were ecstatic when they said they had a non smoking room we could switch into. When we walked into the new room, it was a literal breath of fresh air. The difference was like night and day. The room wasn’t anything fancy by any means but it was at least clean and at that point, that’s all that mattered to us. Overall, the hotel is quite old and is in desperate need of a remodel but I’m under the impression that they’re working on that. The outdoor pool looked nice and clean and the 24 hour gym looked like it had decent machines. The breakfast in the morning was serviceable. They offered the usual pastries and cook your own waffle station along with such staples as cereal and juice. Again, nothing fancy but considering it’s included with the room, I had no complaints. All in all, I don’t plan on returning to this particular hotel. The hotel staff was helpful in trying to get us into a better room but there are so many other options available for accommodations that I’ll hopefully never have to return. Being in the smoking room was a nightmare of stench and mysterious stains on the floors and bedding. Not to mention the smear of mystery on the bathroom door, but being in the other room wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t a good enough experience to negate the bad from the previous night.

Xerxes N’s review below is spot on, a decent place to sleep and shower… for a night. There were multiple, small issues with my room: carpet wasn’t vacuumed, a lamp was unplugged, the air conditioning had been set to 60, the hair dryer handle was greasy, the exterior door closest to my room didn’t work. I would have described a couple of these issues to the staff, but the woman who checked me out didn’t bother to ask me how my stay was. She just said, «You’re good.» The whole property needs updating. Worn carpet in my room and worn ceiling tiles in some of the public areas.

Last night I wrote a review and gave the hotel 2 stars but said it only deserves 1 ½ stars because it was decent and as someone stated before, it serves its purpose. I was extremely skeptical about staying here as soon as I walked through the doors. Everything is outdated, and seriously needs to be upgraded. After spending the night here, waking up in the morning and getting in the shower, I was utterly disgusted by the dirt in the shower. We got here last night, and there were only 4 other cars parked outside(warning sign #1). I understand it’s a Sunday, but for their to only be 4 cars outside of the hotel, it’s a little scary. We walked inside the lobby, everything was old and outdated and it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop(warning sign #2). The sofas in the lobby were old and torn, the«leather» sofa looked extremely worn and the color was wearing off from so much usage. The outside of the room doors looked old and needed to be updated. I’m not sure why on other sites this hotel is a 2 ½ star because it is far from that. The room was somewhat clean. I don’t see why the hotel has flat screen LG televisions, when everything else is outdated, old and honestly just needs to go. The paint on the walls is also peeling off. I got in the shower and as I stood closer to the shower head, I noticed dirt in the shower. I took a picture and thought of posting it on here, but j would hate to disgust other people. Therefore, I will be sending it to their corporate offices/choice hotels. Extremely disgusting. For this hotel to get so little business, the least they could do is have clean bathrooms. I would never stay here again(it actually wasn’t my choice, sadly it was reserved through Hotwire). But I would never stay here or recommend it to others. Yuck!!!

Comfortable, clean rooms. We stayed here with members of the team while competing at a 7on7 tournament at a local high school. The manager was gracious enough to let us comeback and have the team shower after before our trip home. She opened up a couple of rooms for us to use.

Nothing super to rave about this place. It’s far from the quality of Hilton or Marriott but it suits one simple need: a place to sleep while traveling on business. One thing I like is that this hotel is close to a bunch of restaurants. Don’t plan on eating breakfast in the mornings. The waffle machine hasn’t worked on two occasions my business partner and I were there. I popped in once around 10am and the breakfast was already packed away. Wifi can be bit off but they have three or four connections to choose from. Comparing this place to other cheap hotels this one is clean and just shy of comfortable… simply enough just to sleep and shower. I’d spend the extra money if I was in town for more than just a night. No complaints. Nothing great. Eh, it will do.

Stayed here for a business trip. Not a terrible place, but feels very outdated. Guy working at desk was his week, and it felt like it. He was very confused and nervous. The room: Fairly decent, décor left something to be desired. Both TV’s were flat screen. Bathroom: The rod holding the shower curtain was bent down, which means it kept falling to the center not covering the ends, until I got fed up and bent it back up. The toilet barely flushed, I practically had to open the top and flush it manually because they had the wrong arm for the knob(wouldn’t pull the plunger all the way up). The light switch in the bedroom, not really sure what it was hooked up to, but it wasn’t any of the lights. The A/C worked well, but the one in the bedroom made this horrible noise every time it started up, which often woke me up in the middle of the night.
