Love their pizza. One of the last places that isn’t a chain with that cardboard crust and cheap, processed toppings. Their pepperoni is very good with tons of toppings. I’ve been going to this place since they were in that little bity place across from Fred Meyers.

Loved the pizza. But get it to go the service is weak the place is dark not a family place. I guess if you are a regular it might help.

I really wanted to like this restaurant, as it is close to my home and seemingly the only«Italian» restaurant in town. Apparently, the original owners turned out some good food but the new ones definitely are not. High points: the dinner salad is more than just a pile of iceberg lettuce — there are plenty of goodies piled on top. My husband and daughter liked the minestrone soup, but I didn’t personally try it. The bread that is served with the pasta dishes is quite tasty. Low points: el número uno — the atmosphere has no notes of Italy, as the name of the restaurant would suggest — it is a sports bar through and through: TVs everywhere are playing, you guessed it, sports. There are old school video games, trophies and posters galore. As for the food: stay far away from any pasta dish. My pasta of shrimp with angel hair pasta in a garlic sauce was tasteless, as well as my husband’s fettuccini alfredo. You might be safe ordering a pizza, but I’ll go ahead and bet you won’t be writing home about it…

We used to go here a lot, several years ago no more One of the worst dining experiences ever. 1st, they were out of two types of salad dressing, which is fine I could accept that no biggie. But then we get our food and they brought cheese ravioli instead of meat ravioli as we ordered. Then we are told they are out of Meat ravioli. Then we get the bill and I’m charged $ 5 for a small plate of plain spaghetti noodles for my young son. Plus, the fettuccine Alfredo tasted like it was from a jar. Will never be back.

This was my last shot at Pizza west of Hillsboro and I will have to say it’s the best. I ordered over the phone for a pick up, 15 mins later it was ready. No BS, just walk up to the bar and pick up your food. The pizza was a little on the greasy side but nothing too crazy. What was important to me is that it had an actual homemade taste to it, Unlike a chain store pizza. The order of bread sticks was done in a fashion that I’ve never seen before. It was pretty much a loaf of garlic bread sliced thin horizontally. The order of 6 was filling enough for 2 people with leftovers as was the pizza. I can’t comment on the bar as I just walked in. It looked like your typical local low key place. I was there on a Friday at 10 and there was maybe 20 people there. Enough room at the bar if you wanted a seat. They have a couple of pool tables and some older arcade machines also.

With the loss of our fave place to eat in a fire, we’ve been trying new places. Hubby had a fabulous burger and crispy tater tots and our daughter had chicken strips, which were over cooked. I had the french dip which was good, but just okay. Fries were top notch, but service was very slow– it took 31 minutes for our food to come out, and we were the only diners in the place. Its dimly lit, and was FREEZING cold. I kept my heavy coat on the whole time.

Calzones! These guys make some good food but at the top of the list is definitely the calzone. Little Italy is very roomy and a great sports bar type setting, but the pasta and calzones are are there calling card for me. My wife and I frequent this place and enjoy it every time. The service is efficient and nice, and the kitchen has always been on tee. I would recommend this place to any of my friends.

Last Week for dinner my husband brought home a pizza and jalapeño poppers from Little Italy. The jalapeño poppers were to die for, BEST I’ve ever had! Way to shine dudes! Not to mention the pizza. Its the kind of pizza you eat with a fork and knife. Loaded with toppings and nice crispy crust that’s still chest in the center. Mmm mmm good. Full after one slice… Now that’s pizza! :)

The lunch special is as good as you will find anywhere. For $ 5.95 you get a one topping personal pizza(somewhere around 8″ in diameter), a medium drink, and a trip to the salad bar. There is a large screen TV while you wait, but usually by the time I am done with my salad, the pizza is ready. The pizza itself is very good. The crust has just enough garlic flavor and there is ample sauce and pleny of toppings for the money. If you enjoy a good mom-n-pop style pizza rather than the big chain kind, stop in here and see if I am wrong. Update: I reduced this rating to 4 stars because they have recently upped their price to $ 5.95 for their lunch special. Still a good deal, but its now only a 4 star deal. Update: I have reduced my rating to 3 stars. They had a change of venue and removed their lunch special from the menu. The pizza is still good, but why do all non-chain pizza parlors have to charge $ 24.95 for a single pie? Sure, the quality you find at these places exceeds that of Godfathers and the Hut, but… oh well, why bother…
