If I buy a pair of jeans or slacks that need to be taken up, I take them straight to Peggy. She does a great job, you can’t tell that they’ve been altered. Be sure to bring along they type of shoes you plan to wear (generally the highest) so she can get the hem correct for you.
And bring cash– Peggy does not accept cards (and with the high bank fees, I do not blame her).
