What’s that you say? You don’t wanna bro down on coors light in a crowded room full of drunk & predatory cro-magnons? This is the perfect spot to chill and experience multiple types of brews. Great draft selection and knowledgeable staff. They tend to keep a very vast selection on rotation draft-wise, but also offer bottles/cans. Can’t beat the music, either.

This place is super friendly and great for meeting friends for drinks. I always feel right at home from the time I walk in. They offer a perfect assortment of craft beer and wines. The staff is really knowledgeable about what is good, based on your taste. They also have some delicious food options. The tacos are my favorite!

I’ve only been here a few time but have enjoyed it each time. A great place to grab a beer/wine with friends and they have food options to round out the evening. They have a variety of seating from couches & chairs to booths to bar tables & the bar. Whatever mood you are looking for, you can make it here(sort of). I’ve enjoyed wine with friends and a hearty cheese plate one time & a good local beer with chip/dips and a pretzel dessert the second time. Heard rave reviews about their tacos… will return to try them out. Our friend tried one but I didn’t know it was«a thing». Next time… We have so many great options for watering holes in LKN area that people tend to stay close to home, at least I do anyways. I tend to find«i live right around the corner» more often than not. «Where everybody knows your name… dum dum dum…» Cheers song ensues. If you are said persons… I urge you to get out and about every now and then. Glad I did. Cheers!

My wife and I went to Cork and Cask with another couple on a Friday night and it was busy, as to be expected. It’s interesting because they didn’t take our name or give us a number, they just said it was first come, first serve to the tables. So, I’m not sure how that would work if several people were waiting and couldn’t remember who got there first. Anyway, we got a table a few minutes later so no big deal. They have a huge selection of beer and wine and a good sized menu. The wife was excited to see the option to get wine flights. The food was really good and reasonably priced and the atmosphere was very relaxed and cool. I would definitely recommend checking this place out for a drink and/or dinner.

Nice little stop to go have a glass of wine. The worker told us to buy the bottle as 4 glasses would have been more and we thak him from that. The prices are reasonable for drinking out. They also have a nice little food menu

Great little wine bar, and the perfect spot to have an after meal drink when dining at 131 Main! There were two very friendly bartenders, a guy and chick, and they kept the place opened for us even though they officially«closed.» Not a huge selection, but what they have is pretty good, like an Eberle Red Blend from Paso Robles… They also have a very nice selection of wines for retail purchase… of which some are EXCELLENT finds, such as Clarendon Hills Syrah/Shiraz at the $ 40 price point which is about as competitive as it gets for these Auzzie fruit bombs!

I’ve been meaning to try this bar out for a while now, but never really had a chance. My boyfriend and I stopped by two weeks ago and we were definitely surprised. It’s really nice decorated. They’re a lot of locals which makes it fun. The bartenders definitely know their alcohol which was refreshing to say the least. The manager/owner approached us and made sure to update us on upcoming events, which was a nice gesture. We will definitely be back!

For transparency’s sake, I am an employee, but am writing on my own free will, because I truly love this place. The owners are walking encyclopedias of information, which has certainly shaped an incredible staff and a list of offerings you won’t find anywhere else. For the foodies, beer snobs and wine connoisseurs, there’s always something new to try, and C&C prides themselves on that. Don’t be intimidated though, as newbies and experts alike will enjoy the educational energy. If you ask for a Bud Light, the record won’t skip and the bar crowd won’t turn to you in confusion — we’ll take care to help you find something you’ll love. Or if you just want to hide in the corner with your date, we’ll get the hint and leave you alone. If you haven’t come to visit this gem, make it happen! You won’t be disappointed.

I love this bar! In my opinion, it is exactly what this area needs. A neighborhood bar with an intimate feel, great music, food and drink. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, and they always make you feel more than welcome. The menu is not overwhelming, and truly has something for everyone. If you’re not sure which beer to try, just get the beer flight — 4 nice sized samples for only $ 10! I’ve found so many new favorites, and will be back again and again :)

The best neighborhood bar in the Lake Norman area. Great inviting atomesphere with a friendly knowledgeable staff. Great ever rotating craft beer menu, great wines, and some killer bourbon and scotch. Food is also great!

Best neighborhood bar in town. All the bartenders are amazing! They will pretty much remember you by name. My husband I frequent the cork and cask and have yet to have a negative experience. They look like a tiny hole in the wall in Oakhurt but this place will surprise you GUARANTEED! 5 stars easy. And the food is delicious. Highly reccommend the nachos/1

If you love craft beer and good food… go here! This is our fav. spot! The goat cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon are a must!(We get them every visit) We have also had the nachos with beer cheese, mac and cheese, tacos, and the cheese trays. The dishes all have cool names… drawing a blank at the moment. The staff are so nice too! So glad we found this lil gem!!!

Their craft beer selection is great and their staff’s knowledge is unparalleled! They just started making a new flatbread which is bar none the best I’ve ever had. If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out!

We stopped in here for a drink before dinner, and I’m so glad we did! I had heard about it from a friend, and we decided to give it a whirl during Cornelius day. The parking is easy, and you can enter from the lot or the street-facing side, which has a few tables with umbrellas and comfy looking outdoor couch with chaise. We sat inside at the bar, and at 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon, there were a few other groups inside, too. Our bartender, Kat, was so friendly and welcoming, and she went over the menu to give us the lowdown. The fella was pretty excited about a Cigar City collaboration, and as a non-beer girl, I went with a glass of wine(which came in a Riedel glass — ooh la la). The atmosphere is casual with the bar, some tables, and a seating area with chairs in the back, and we loved the décor with posters/signs of The Big Lebowski, Sideways, The Godfather, The Beatles, etc. They have good taste! I even have to comment on the bathroom, which was so clean and spacious and very nicely decorated with a bench and shelves containing knickknacks… like The John Travolta Scrapbook. Nicely done. Oh, and there’s free wifi — just ask for the password. We didn’t try any food, but the menu looked fun. Too bad we don’t live nearby or this would most likely be a great«usual» spot.

We stopped in here for a few beers and a appetizer. The inside is laid out a little weird in that it’s kind of just one long rectangle but the beers and atmosphere is actually very inviting. They have a great selection of beer and the nachos we had with beer cheese sauce was phenomenal. Hope I get the chance to go back here sometime soon and try some of their other foods.

This is a great place to grab a beer or a great glass of wine. They have some great bar bites as well. I especially like the charcuterie.

Good drink selection, and they offer beer samplers. If you ask, they’ll sell you a wine flight! Food — not so great. I was disappointed by basically everything we ordered, which really bummed me out. The cheese plate was okay, but it was missing something crunchy(may I suggest Marcona almonds or some crunchy bread?), and the cheese selection wasn’t quite diverse enough for my taste. The nachos were pretty terrible. I liked the flatbread we tried, but it wasn’t very substantial, and at the end of our evening I found I was still a little hungry. Also pretty sure my husband got food poisoning after our dinner, which solidified our less-than-favorable view of their culinary offerings. I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon, and if I do go, I certainly won’t be ordering any of the food.
