Since moving to the area, this has become my first choice for a quick stop for a hot drink. Other options are on the way but are not competition for Human Bean. I nearly always get the Irish crème breve and it never disappoints. They have a buy 10 get 1 free punch card, double stamps on Wednesdays, and you can often find a $ 0.50 off coupon on the back of your receipt from the grocery store across the street. The employees are always very friendly without it feeling forced. They have drive up windows on both sides which also makes it a much faster option than the nearby competition. 5 stars.

Ordered a vanilla late asked if I could get it not to hot. The batista was very friendly and made my drink very quickly. It was the perfect temperature the only problem was me forgetting to ask for soy milk. It was a good coffee so I drank it anyways.

I randomly stumbled upon this place as I was driving around desperately looking for caffeine. I ordered my usual Americano and was not disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised by the extra piece of chocolate covered espresso beam they put on your drink too. It’s such a small thing but really makes a differnce. If this place were closer to me, I’d definitely be back often. The girl working there was also super smiley and cheery.

The Cornelius location has the best customer service I’ve ever received at a coffee stand. They are always nice and cheery and send me off on my morning with a great cup of coffee and a smile. I have only complained about 1 drink and not one time did they make it sound like it was my fault or that I had done something, they did not make any excuses and they gave me a replacement coffee with the smile. I Drive past 4 stands in my town just to get to this location because it is that good and they are that nice.

The girl who took my order made this trip from ordinary coffee shop experience to great! I think her name was Rebecca, she was very friendly and full of smiles, asked how my day was and seemed genuinely interested. Coffee was good and I would come back, I’ve never had human bean before I was surprised in a good way!

This is my place of choice to stop for coffee on Saturday mornings. The coffee is really good and they give you a delicious chocolate covered espresso bean to go with it. They also give my puppy a dog cookie; now he starts drooling when we pull up to the window. The girls here are always friendly and they remember me and the drink I want from one weekend to the next, which always makes my morning. The best thing, though, was when they saved Zappa for me. See, Zappa is a 20-dollar bill with a huge curly black afro-mullet, mustache, and goatee drawn over Jackson’s face. He came to me that way, and his name is sketched right below his portrait. I’ve had him in my car for a couple years; I’ve held on to him because I think he’s cute and I just can’t bring myself to send him on his way. One morning I stopped for my coffee and realized I had forgotten my wallet at home, and the only money I had was Zappa. I hated to part with him. Feeling somewhat foolish, I asked the girls here if they would just hang on to Zappa for me until the afternoon when I got home from work. I would run home, grab my wallet, give them a different 20-dollar-bill, and get Zappa back. And they did! They put Zappa safely into an envelope and took good care of him until the afternoon when I came to bail him out. Now he’s back in my car where he’ll hopefully remain for another few years. Thanks girls!!!

It’s stupid to charge 50 cents for a splash of soymilk in your coffee. This is poor business practices and we will not be back. Plus it’s not like it’s organic or fair trade or anything.

I love Human Bean for the fact that it’s not a sugary and the staff isn’t as in your face as the other local Kiosk but still very welcoming. It’s a nice change if you get tired of the Dutch or ‘Bucks.

I love the play on words. Human Bean? How clever. What’s there to say about a drive-up/walk-up coffee stand? Not much I guess. I was passing by while in the Cornelius area and decided to forgo the usual Starb*cks stop and try out the Human Bean. The worker was very friendly and upbeat, and the service was quick. This place reminded me of a D*tch Bros coffee stand so I can’t complain. The Americano +1 extra shot got me revved up enough to finish my errands for that day.
