Walgreens

This store has very friendly employees. The pharmacy seems to be very efficient. I appreciate their willingness to go above and beyond. Due to the affluent area, I think they strive to meet the needs of their sometimes demanding patients.

Friendly and Helpful
Stopped in last night to get a new Passport Photo. Excellent service and had my photo in less than 10 minutes all properly sized to State Dept requirement.
The photo technician was excellent and she managed to get a decent photo of me that looked better than the one on my Driver’s License.
All in all, it’s a great store and we are in there for something at least once a week. Prices are good compared to the rest in the neighborhood and service is always good.

I usually don’t review regular ol’ retail stores, but if one strikes me in such a positive (or negative) way then I feel compelled to Unilocal it up. This Walgreens, located near/​in the Birkdale Commons area, warrants mention for its superior customer service.
The miss’ is a coupon monster, so each week she gathers up coupons, matches them to products on sale at the likes of Walgreens/​CVS, etc., and then heads out to get those deals. One of these adventures took us to Walgreens today where there were several items on sale for the week. One item was out of stock on the shelf, and the employee stocking shelves nearby knew that they were out of them and directed us to fill out a rain check so that we could get those items at the sale price next week. May not seem out of the ordinary, but I’ve been to one too many stores where the employees on the sales floor either didn’t know what the deal was with a product or would simply say «ummm I think we’re sold out.»
Then when we were ready to pay, the cashier noticed one of the products my wife was purchasing and insisted on ringing us up at the cosmetics counter instead because she knew there were some manufacturer coupons for that product stashed away there. So the miss’ ended up spending even less than anticipated thanks to a knowledgeable cashier who went out of her way to make sure we got the most out of our quest to save money.
The only reason I give Walgreens four stars is because if it’s not on sale that week, the product is most likely slightly overpriced and can be found cheaper somewhere like Target. Still, if you follow the weekly ads for the store, or if you need something from there quick, the helpful staff will make the experience as easy as possible.
