Great stop on our way to Trinity River, we loved the fig balsamic and the great service!

Was here last summer, very impressed they have a wide selection of both olive oils and balsamic vinegar. the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, this made for a great quick stop on a roadtrip. was disappointed that they did not offer bread to dip in the olive oil as sipping olive oil was a little too strange for me, left a lingering bitter aftertaste. Despite this the balsamic vinegars were all delicious, I ended up buying the strawberry and pear flavors. they come in lots of different sizes as well! plus, the employee gave us a little treat at the end: ice cream to pour the balsamic vinegar on! sounds strange, but trust me it was absolutely terrific. perfect way to end the visit. I would def return if I was ever in the area… but please, offer up some bread.

Ok I have to write my review again since this was the place that had me download the Unilocal app so I could get a coupon for a discount that started me on my fantastic road of Unilocal. First and foremost if you are an olive oil lover as I am or just a bit of one or not at all I’m telling you, you have to stop and take the tour, do some tasting and get the education that these people will dole out about their fabulous oils. I never thought that you would olive oil taste? Balsamic vinegar taste? Yuck but Oh my gosh there is such an eye opening experience to what an how you can use these amazing liquids. Nectar of the gods as I like to think of them. My pantry is overflowing. Or my cup runneth over. However you look at it I can never have enough. The not only have your plain oil and balsamic, but they have flavored ones. In oils: lemon, garlic, Rosemary, basil and chocolate. I may have left some out but the unflavored ones range in light, mid and bold. It my favorite is Millers blend. Balsamic’s: mission fig, strawberry, pomegranate, blackberry, lemon and peach also might have forgot one but they have scaled down on the large selection of flavored balsamic’s they used to have from a year or so ago. There were at least 15 different flavored last visit but they did have a lot of changes within the last few years. I know the founding son sold the company and the partner that bought had tried to keep it the same and it has seemed to be much the same, just a new label design. I was a club member and dropped out due to too many mustards & Tapenade’s in the boxes instead of just oils and balsamic’s. So when I was in this time I inquired about the boxes for the club and now you get 3 oils and 2 balsamic’s only yay! So I might rejoin that again. If in Corning or the area this is a MUSTSEE place it won’t disappoint. Very interesting and great product.

Olive oil tasting? Sounds odd at first, but I figured I should give it a shot. I came to Lucero Tasting Room for the book signing event by author, Carol Firenze. She gave us a quick tutorial on how to taste olive oil using the 4 S’s — swirl, sniff, slurp, and swallow. It was similar to wine tasting, except you warm up the olive oil with your hands to heat the oil molecules, and drink in a blue glass to eliminate bias against oil color. Carol also provided a useful handout on how to use and assess for those who attended her 30 minute talk. For example, did you know that a layer of olive oil can be used to protect sliced open avocados from oxidizing? And did you know that since air degrades olive oil, it should be purchased in a dark bottle, metal container, or packaging that shields bottle from light? In any case, the olive oils paired well with baguette and cream cheese. There was also a wide selection of fruit and berry infused balsamic vinegars, which were on clearance for 3 for $ 3 the day I visited! The garlic roasted sweet mustard was also delicious when paired with baguette or crackers. Pro tips: 1. No more small bottle of EVOO with Unilocal check in offer! :( 2. Bathroom is accessible outside tasting room. 3. Plenty of private lot parking.

Pros: Extremely customer focused. Well-informed, stellar staff and owner — the general manager and the owner took time to interact with visitors. Visitors are treated as respected, prospective buyers. Tour guides spoke the lingo of the business instead of dumbing the language down. Best time to visit is during harvest season — September to October — for the view and aromas. Come prepared to sample dozens of extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegar. Do not forgo the balsamic vinegar tasting. If you are lucky, you might get a sample of ice cream topped with flavored balsamic vinegar. Cons: N/A

Do you need a gift… for anybody?!? This is the place! Delicious Balsamic Vinegars and locally produced Olive Oils in lots of flavors. You can take a Tour or just go in and sample oils and vinegars in their beautiful showroom. My sister told me just to send her Lucero’s every year for Christmas!

If you’re looking for olive oil, don’t miss this place. Two or three time a year we have to make the 45 minute drive from our home and restock. Outstanding product and a very friendly and efficient staff. And don’t forget to try the mustards. They’re great.

We stopped here on the way home from Ashland, and it was very fun. Lots and lots of balsamics and olive oils that you can taste to your heart’s content. The tasting room is very spacious, clean, and light, and the staff was friendly and low-pressure. Although it may be a little pricey, it’s no worse than any other specialty oils, and when we were there they had a 50% off sale.

What a find! Oil and vinegar on ice cream? If it’s fruit infused balsamic vinegar and olive oil– then yes– it’s delicious. And so many choices in this self-serve tasting room-over a dozen rich, sweet, fruit-flavored vinegars. Amazing how intensely they captured the essence of the infused fruit. There was an equally wide range of delicious, highly decorated olive oils, both natural and infused. Add to this a beautiful, coolly elegant tasting room and knowledgable staff and what do you get– 5 stars. PS. It ain’t cheap but it’s worth it!

What a nice place to shop! There are many samples to taste, of both the flavored vinegars and the olive oils. My daughter and I stopped here as we traveled home from So. CA. We learned a lot from a very pleasant and knowledgeable lady. We went home with a nice variety of vinegars and olive oils. This is a classy place sort of like a wine tasting place. It’s little spendy but very, very good. We enjoyed it very much.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Seriously, the peach flavored balsamic vinegar is out of this world. Pairs super nicely salads. I use it all the time on top of kale salads(I live in LA and kale is a staple down here). Don’t just trust me on the peach balsamic. Lemon flavor is a win as well. But, hey it’s Lucero OLIVEOIL so go try all the different varieties of olive oil. You won’t be disappointed. If you’re smart you’ll walk out with an oil that pairs nicely with the flavor of balsamic that has won your taste buds over. Don’t miss this spot on your drive along I-5.

Sometimes turning off a random exit turns out to be the best thing ever an this is how I felt after a visit to Lucero Olive Oil. Mark C. and I arrived just as their retail store was opening and even though the employees were in a morning meeting, we were lucky enough to be given an impromptu tour by Rafael. He was very knowledgeable, seamlessly weaving the history of the company as he showed us their entire operation from start to finish. The company itself has only been around for 8 years(started after the most recent economic crash) but the olive groves have been in the family’s possession for about a century. And just when we though it could not get any better we were each given a sample of olive oil that was fresh and just off the line. How fresh you might ask — so fresh that it was still warm and worth every single calorie. After our tour we headed to the tasting room where you could purchase and taste all of their varieties of olive oils(plain and infused) as well as a line of balsamic vinegars. By checking in on Unilocal,Mark C. and I were already going to receive small bottles of olive oil but we purchased more(including a bottle of luscious aged balsamic and peach balsamic vinegar) to bring home. I was also happy to find that they are found in Williams Sanoma so we can continue to enjoy their products in Connecticut
