Please be sure to ask a lot of question concerning their discipline policy .This camp is aa amp that has very under skilled counselor s My child was threatening abused was treated as if he were in boot camp when addressing the directors she assured me that she would address the problem you see she is the problem she runs that camp like a military camp My child was punished because his group was talking and did not quiet down so the whole group was punished by having them stand in the hot sun for 15 mins this is only the tip of the iceberg you must stand at attention no hands in your pocket what is going on I thought camp was suppose to be fun The counselor use language that is so inappropriate they call the boys Girl Scouts and tell them they are lam and are a bunch Of girly girls The water that is too be supplied for the children is out of reach in fact kids where dropping like flys And yes Hospitalize. All this is so sweep under the rug maybe because a lot of inner city kids come to this overnight camp and parents grandparents and foster parents are so far away Their mail is opened and read before it Is mailED home The director makes the child rewrite any negative about the camp or lack of water and she also listen to all outgoing calls that are made to parents This is a bully camp Parents beware I have made contact with their ny city office and was told that this is a camps that grooms these children Well thenmaybe you miss April should have all this on your website Bottom line beware parents of Cornwall this is not where you want your kids to go. This probably the reson your day time enrollment is so low It’s not the people that live on the ground all year they are great They are very respected in Cornwall it’s the people that rent it out for summer camp fromNew York city.
