Edgwick Farm is heaven on earth. The people are amazing and so dedicated to the goats and their craft. The goats are affectionate and so loving. They’re very clearly well cared for and are loving life(I would too if I were them!). I seriously didn’t want to leave! In fact, I love it there so much that I signed up to volunteer. My husband and I met the owners at the Pleasantville Farmers Market and they’re the nicest people. Their cheese is delicious and affordable. You need to go if you haven’t already!

We loved the goat farm tour. You’re able to get up close and personal with all the goats. The baby goats alone are worth the price of admission. This is a tour where you actually go into the pen and pet the goats. You’ll be covered in goat hair and saliva in no time due to the animals’ friendliness. Wear boots. The owners are very nice and the sample goat cheeses and milk are delicious.

I tried their goat milk cheese with blueberry jam and pretty much ate it with a spoon out of the container. It was well worth the $ 12. I recommend their cheeses to all. YUM.

The best goat cheese, ever. Excellent for lactose intolerant people! Love the marinated Canterbury the most. Also love going to the farm to see the baby goats when they’re super tiny!

I get my raw goat’s milk from this farm. They are the closest farm to New York City that has a license to do so and they are the best raw milk producer that I have sampled so far in my life! I use their raw goat’s milk to make yogurt and/or cheese. I usually make yogurt because I like the taste of such yogurt several order’s of magnitude better than Chobani and Fage. Yes, all that Greek yogurt is is strained yogurt. So all manufacturers selling you«Greek» yogurt are just scamming you. Also, Greek yogurt is supposed to be made of goat’s milk, not cows. Edgwick Farm also makes some pretty good cheese that you can find at this years final season of the New Amsterdam Market, which has been sold off by the city to rich developers to become even richer. If you are lucky enough to live near Cornwall or don’t mind a drive(Harriman State Park is right there as well as the West Point Museum) you can visit the farm and purchase raw goat’s milk, duck and chicken eggs and all of their cheeses. I love their Duck eggs and their goat’s milk cheddar is my favorite cheese of theirs. Hmmm, I also love their Chevre!
