Came here for the first time yesterday and had my hair cut by Claudia Silva. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional and did an amazing job on my hair. I initially came in with a picture that didn’t quite fit the goal I had in mind of growing out a pixie to a bob, and Claudia was honest about it. She ended up giving me the best cut I’ve ever had, and I definitely intend to come see her for every trim along the way!

I am not one to write reviews, but this was a must. I bought a Brazilian wax via groupon. One of the worst I have ever had. When she showed me to the (tiny, dinky) little room, she just then turned the wax on to heat by. After I undressed and she started the process, the wax was obviously not hot enough. It began and I soon realized she was not wearing gloves. I got home after the wax and there was missing patches, she didn’t tweeze, and whatever oil she used as a wax remover had me itching for a week. Overall, worst Brazilian experience ever.
Conversation was fine, very nice lady, but at the end of the day it’s about the final product.

Last year I had gotten engaged and was looking for a hairstylist for my entire bridal party. One of my friends had Allie do her bridal party about 2 years ago so I went to meet with Allie in Aug of 2015. We did a few hair trials because I knew I wanted it up but didn’t know exactly what would look good on me since I never wear my hair up. Allie gave some advice and listened to what I was saying. I had showed her a few pictures of some things I liked and on my wedding day I couldn’t have been happier the way my hair came out. It was a little bigger then I was expecting (volume wise) but I actually liked it and in photos it looks great. Allie was friendly to work with. Her assistant was nice as well I believe her name was Chloe. My entire bridal party looked amazing from Flower girl to my matron and my mother. We had 13 girls to get hair done so they started around 8. Allie normally responds via email only and at times I was worried she wasn’t getting my emails (that would be my only negative thing to say) but I understood why she did it. It is always a pleasure too arrive at Alexander’s and have my sweet friend Rosalie Jones do her magic on our Hair… it’s refreshing to settle in and allow her to do what she does best. we love our fabulous look and always get many compliments… highly recommend!

so I brought a Groupon, 3 Brazilian waxes for $ 75 with Tanya. I finally got a chance to use it today. Well worth the money spent. She was professional, let know what she was doing, answered the questions I had, was very gentle, & made me feel extremely comfortable. she was chatty & funny too. so we talked through out the time, which worked in my favor because It was the perfect distraction. Turned out to be the least painful waxing I’ve ever had. My Groupon promotional value had just expired & I was only to receive the value of the amount paid but she extended the courtesy to accept the promotional value. something she didn’t have to do. so, I booked my appointment for next month.

I’ve been going with Neeru to get my eyebrows done for almost a year and it’s probably one of the best decisions I’ve done.
She has given my eyebrows the shape I’ve always wanted and that best suits me.
I’ve moved to LA since I first started going with her but I drive all the down way here to get my eyebrows done by her. That’s how amazing she is!!!

My first time here I had a girl (can’t remember her name) that I wasn’t thrilled with — she was late to it appointment, and I didn’t love the way my hair turned out. My second time here was last week, and my appointment was with Claudia this time. She was on time, she was very friendly and personable, and I loved how my hair looked. Even though I liked her, and I liked how good of a job she did, I don’t know how often I’d come back, it’s more money than I feel comfortable spending on my hair.

Just want to say something about an exceptional hair stylist… that works at Alexander’s Salon. Her name is Tanya Martinez.
I moved to California 14 years ago. I unfortunately have very unmanageable hair and it is simply a mission to find a good hair stylist.
After 4 whole years of searching… finally I found Tanya and have been going to her for 10 years to the present. Not only do I go but my husband, mother-​in– law and friends.
I would recommend Tanya to anyone. She is truly very gifted in the art of creating the right style for anyone. Her personality is delightful and Tanya has the talent to make all feel comfortable.
She goes beyond a hair cut and coloring as she fixed my husband’s ingrown hair and on another occasion, his sagging shoulder that was nagging him for weeks!
Don’t know what I would do without her. Oh almost forgot! Alexander’s has a wonderful atmosphere and a pleasure to visit. Literally «One Stop Shopping»…one can get their hair cut (I recommend Tanya) nails done, pedicure and message snack shop and more.
What else could a girl ask for?

I’d like to make rebuttal, As to my friend Tanya (not Tonya) As to I don’t think that’s the right spelling. like to remark as to Kimberlee W. remarks.
I don’t think your comments about a person, is very Mature.
If you don’t like a facility, or the way a person does something, don”t come back. But to be so Rude as to criticize my friend, was really low.
This just show’s what a type of client you would be, and warns other people in other businesses not to deal with you. I know I wouldn’t.
I know Tanya, has done a wonderful job on me, and I always get compliments about my hair cut. So on behalf of my friend.
Kimberlee, WAX ON WAX OFF (I Feel Sorry, For You)

This review is about their WAXING!
1. The wax was too cool — pulls your hair as she puts the wax on
2. She didn’t hold the skin taut before pulling the strip — hurts like a beezy
3. Right after you pull a strip you’re supposed to put your hand on the area to take the sting away, but of course she doesn’t do that either so the stinging just continues.
4. No hard wax option (not that big of a deal)
5. The waxing room is dingy and small and doesn’t feel very clean.
The lady was really nice, but I still would not recommend this place based on my experience.

To make a long story short my stylist (Maria) was out of town and referred me to the girl next to her (Katie). I went from blonde ombré to a very light brown (with a semi or demi) I hated the color on me, but it’s what I asked for so I didn’t complain. BUT a couple months later I go back to my regular stylist and asked for an apt to go back to blonde in about a month. She pretty much said that it was not possible because the brown was way to dark to go blonde again, and that my hair would just break apart. I freaked out because I hated the brown and she pretty much made it seem like I was stuck like that. I found another stylist in a different location that took me in right away. My hair is blonde again and healthier than ever!!!

I have been coming here for a little over 4 years and I absolutely love this place! First off ill say that this place is a one stop shop. My hairstylist is claudia silva, she truly does magic to my hair, i love her cutting technique and her color job is the best. Claudia is a great at listening to you in what you want done as well. Highly highly recommend claudia.
For nails I go to annie and she has been doing my nails for the past 4 years and is just amazing. I get the gels done and ill say that annie hands down does it right! My nails dont chip and last long time considering my hands are in water everyday. I actually never choose colors or design, I trust annie so i let her creative mind go to work and she never ever fails, annie knows my personality and puts it in my nails. I always get compliments everywhere i go. Yeah annie is that awesome and highly recommend her.
For lashes I go to carli, I get the lash extensions. I was always a bit nervous the thought of lash extensions however my mind changed when I met carli. Carlis work is excellent, she listens to how you want your lashes to look, she is a professional. Carli does educate you on taking care of your lashes and they do last!
another thing i want to add is this place does have a café and the food is so good!
There is also a boutique, cute clothes.
Very clean and one heck of a huge salon! They do facials here too. You can spend a day in here :).

Marlene H., has come out to Corona to this lovely salon! I am following Marlene out here because her schedule at this salon works very well for me and it is SO WORTH the time! You are in for such a treat! Marlene does precision work in so many areas! Waxing, facials, brow design…
First of all, she is so knowledgeable about your skin and what products work best for your individual skin type. She uses the most gentle wax for all areas of the body. NO one else touches my brows! Marlene also tints away my grey hairs in my brows! It lasts SO long. But really, this only scratches the surface… have her signature facial. You almost want to cry at how great it all feels.
Under Marlene’s magic fingers you will be scrubbed, polished and massaged and nearly unable to lift yourself off of the table. Make this a top priority in your life and it will ease any stress you have. Marlene’s massage will put you to sleep!
Seriously — I live in a community that is filled with day spas and salons but when I find someone who is professional, kind, on time, and friendly, I will make it a point to keep them in my life!

I highly recommend Arri! I have been going to her for years and I always recommend her to everyone I know.
Arri has a lot of experience working with celebrities and models. In fact, she started out working in the industry with shows such as MTV and Univision under her belt.
I don’t recommend many people unless I know they are quality people. She always goes above and beyond what’s expected and makes sure you walk out of that salon looking like a million bucks!
