Big Al’s Pizza

This place is awesome! They never disappoint… the food is always hot, tasty, and made with good quality ingredients! They have a little arcade for kiddos as well… we’ve had several different pizzas and wings from this place… they are ALL delicious! This is our go to Pizza joint!

Customer service wasn’t good. Arrived and placed an order at 7pm. I waited patiently for my order… but it never came. Instead several people got there orders before me. They kept saying 5 more mins but the small pizza I had ordered was forgotten about. The several people after me that placed an order had received their LARGE pizza before me. VERY Disappointed!

My family loves this place. The pizza is always cooked perfectly and they are very generous with their spaghetti and salad. We have never had a bad experience here. Whenever we are looking for something quick and delicious and we don’t want to deal with traffic on the 91 this is our go to pizza place. It isn’t a fancy place but the food is perfect.

Time and distance has made me realize that I love you. You might not be the prettiest or the fanciest, but you were always close by and fulfilled my needs when I needed you. Now that I’ve moved on, and moved farther away, I still stay up at night thinking of you, and all those long nights when it was just the two of us alone on a dark bedroom floor. I will always have a special place for you in my heart, Green River Special, even at $ 24 for an extra large, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m pretty sure you’re my soulmate, no one else will fill my void the way you do.

Pizza is great! Price is ok! Service is quick and excellence. Only one suggestion to the owner, please order some stronger paper plates. The cheap one that is being used can’t hold the pizza sauce and grease

Was in the mood for pizza today. Thought I would give big al’s a try. What a disappointment. I phoned in an order for a large with multiple toppings. Talked to the guy about their good pizza reviews and tipped them at the counter without checking the pizza before I drove home. Guess what? All I got was a 1 topping pepperoni. I guess it’s my bad for not opening the box to check it… arrrgh. Pizza was ok. But I didn’t expect gourmet pizza. Why can’t people get it right at drive-​thru’ and take-​out. The girl on the phone even confirmed my order. Oh well… filled the void in my gut.

Pizza is good, happy hour is great, and the beers include a free fly at the bottom of the glass! It’s hard not to give this place another shot because the food really was top notch but cleanliness has to be a priority. Sorry Big Al.

I was really pissed when I had to drive 20 mins based on the open hours that says open till 9:30. And when I arrived at 9:07 they said they closed. I showed him that Unilocal said they open till 9:30 but insisted no «we closed» that’s really bad.

I had pizza, wings and garlic bites.
Everything was amazing ! Prices are so good!
Pizza– I had a small half pepperoni/​sausage and half pineapple/​jalapeños. It was so good and cheesy!
Garlic bites-​just perfect!
Wings-​we asked for them well done but they didn’t come that way which was fine because they were still delicious.
Restaurant– was a little busy with a team of some sort so it was a little messy but nothing ridiculous. Don’t really like there set up but it’s not too big of a place so that’s understandable.
Will definitely be back!

I don’t usually do Pizza, but when I do. It’s Big Al’s all the way!
Polite service, food delivered quickly and great tasting authentic pizza.

Just left this place. Overall not impressed.

The guy taking our order didn’t understand what it means to substitute an item
The staff failed to clear dirty tables nearby
The two guys working there were watching tv, talking about taking dabs of wax the whole time

This place is great! I’m not sure why anyone gave a bad review. We’ve never had anything bad here. Pizza is the best in Corona. The cheese is to-​die-​for. We love the meatball sub. Owners and all the workers go above and beyond. We love it here!

went here during the week, and the staff was rude and unhelpful. everything took a really long time even though the place was basically empty. Girl behind the counter could care less. I will not be returning.

Coworkers and I ordered pizza and wings last night. chicken wings were gross,
If I could I’d give them 0 stars, because the chicken wings got us sick.
Puking and stomach cramps. My coworker ended up in the hospital with food poisoning.
Never eating here again.

I’m not exactly sure what is going on at Big Al’s Pizza, but their customer service and productivity has gone to the dogs!
I went in on a Thursday night to enjoy a pizza, and a glass of beer… and low & behold there wasn’t a spot to sit down! They were having some sort of fund raiser, so all the soccer mom’s in West Corona were there with their kids!
30 minutes after placing my order, I see my pizza just going into the oven!
Take it from someone who worked for Round Table Pizza back in the day… go back to your old process, because this one isn’t working!!!

We just moved to this side of town and have only ordered delivery. Which it’s always good. We didn’t know they had an actually restaurant and games. We went there with my family and another family and our kids had fun. The game room was perfect because they actually were able to win a lot of tickets for prizes.
The Food was amazing there salads reminded me of the old style pizza place salads with the white cheese on top. We order a pizza with Bacon, Sausage, ham, pepperoni and it was BOMB! The kids had a cheese pizza and they loved it.
The Service was great, the staff was very friendly, and the place was clean. To be honest there was anything I could say was bad about this place. Overall my experience was a 10.

I ordered the green river special (light sausage), and I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome Big Al’s pizza truly is! The crust was perfectly golden brown and crispy on the bottom while chewy and soft. The ingredients are fresh and evenly distributed over the pie.
The place is great for teams and families as there are many long tables and arcade/​ticket games for the kids to play. Next time I hope to try the pasta.

Yikes! How did this place get 4 stars? I find it ho hum average in every way.
I wanted a good antipasto salad, and thought this might be the place. Little did I know it was mostly an excessively thick layer of cheese, with some sliced ham and cotton salami. Although the romaine lettuce was fresh and crisp, there was no tomato, no onion, no other additions that would perk up this salad, like dry salami, pepperoni, olives, bell pepper, peperoncini. It fell into the category of simply bland and boring, topped off with an equally boring Italian dressing, not even house made, but a packet of Newman’s Best Italian. Not a fan (Sorry Mr. Newman).
My other mistake was ordering some buffalo wings, a miss too. I did not like the red spicy sauce at all. It came home to the son who will eat anything.
Nope. No second chance for those items, and no first chance for pizza either, since it has decidedly fallen into the bad carb food category for me personally. You will have to decide that for yourself.
If there is an upside, it would be for the entertainment factor. This place flashy with wall to wall games, and prizes, and an equally impressive number of TVs featuring sports events. Good for families. Not for me.

Talk about hidden gem! Came here on a Friday night with a group of friends and enjoyed a delicious cheesy pizza with the freshest quality ingredients. I really liked what we ordered which was a large green river special and a order of fettuccine chicken Alfredo. Everything was perfect. Te Alfredo sauce was super creamy and thick and a generous amount of chicken was put into my bowl. The pizza veggies were crisp and the dough was cooked to perfection. It was crunchy and soft. I seriously couldn’t ask for a better pie. Everyone is friendly and they offer you recommendations if you don’t know what you want. They have the games playing and beer on tap. My only issue is the location but the pizza is well worth the drive!
Anyway, I recommend this local pizzeria!!! Let’s have a slice of that piiiiiiieeeeeeee :)
