Carl’s Jr Restaurant

Having spent the majority of my life living in Hawaii, I had very little exposure to Carl’s Jr. since I think we only had one or two attached to a gas station, but no free-​standing restaurants. Now that I live in Southern California, my exposure to CJ’s (as I call it) has exploded… they’re simply everywhere!
As a general statement, I can honestly say that I received at least ‘good’ service at any CJ’s I’ve been to. This particular location, however, has surpassed all the others this far.
The vast majority of my patronage is in the drive-​thru, though I have also dined-​in on several occasions. Whether for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even a late-​night snack, this drive-​thru has always operated very smoothly, even with several cars in the line. Plus, they have yet to make a mistake on my order, so I can’t apply Joe Pesci’s eloquent quote «They f*** you in the drive-​thru».
Dining-​in has been a good experience as well. The restaurant and restrooms are clean and the dining room rarely seems to get that busy/​loud. Perhaps the event that solidified the 5-​star rating for me was what I witnessed as another customer placed his order. The man ordered some Famous Stars with cheese. As he took out his money to pay, he realized that he was a little short of the total… it seemed adding the cheese put him over. Rather than make him change the order to «no cheese», the employee simply said «don’t worry about it», and just took what he had. No, this man wasn’t down on his luck. It just seems like he had a little less in his pocket than he thought and probably could’ve found enough change in his car to cover the cost. No Manager had to get involved, no complicated register overrides, just and empowered employee that made this man’s day and probably gained a lifelong customer… maybe two.

Cleanliness and service are both sub par. Food is OK, not great. Overall a less satisfying experience vs. other fast food restaurants in the area. Was much better years prior

Husband went thru drive thru ordered 2 biscuits egg cheese bacon and sausage for my son. Son ate one then started to eat the other and said «why did dad not get meat?»
Receipt and wrapper said meat. I called and they told me to bring in half eaten food because cooks said they put meat in it. Really? So i went to store and the guy at the drive thru was nice (Alexander) as well as the manager, but the other girl laughing and rolling her eyes at me really pissed me off. I was told by manager that «you need to bring in the food to see what they did wrong, like Walmart» she said. «You know if you buy something at walmart» ummmmmm okay. I asked for a refund. Charge me for 1 buscuit egg cheese only and give me money back for another. Im not anal. I am just tired of bad customer service and the service industry not paying attention to detail. I was a bartender/​waitress for a very long time, and I am fed up with crappy service and bad attitudes will i come back? Lol yes because my son loves there biscuits. Ugh

Just went through the drive thru. Very friendly, polite & nice people working tonight. Not sure if it’s always like that but it was a pleasant surprise for a fast food joint.
Food tastes good & was quick service.

Esperanza was friendly over the speaker box, got me to up size, she even tried to sell me on a cookie. She did all this without me feeling like I was being sold. While I opted out of the cookie I did go combo style. I changed the sauce on my meal and they got it right! Speedy, friendly service. Thanks!

Worst Carl’s!!! Have to sit in front every time when going through drive thru and end up walking in to find out what is taking so long every time!

Another reason why we don’t eat fast food in this town! Who are the owners and do they care!!! Stopped in tonight only because we were tired from a long flight and hungry. Had to run to Albertsons so it was convenient. Wow! What a bad decision!!! We ordered ck strips and asked for 5 sauces-​got 2, ordered a burrito-​got ZERO SAUCE, ordered fried burritos-​got ZERO accompaniments that they show on the menu and finally ordered fries and ZERO ketchup!!! Seriously, why are you still in business?!! This is an nice area that we live in and to have establishments like this that apparently have ZERO regard for their patrons is beyond ridiculous! They should’ve received ZERO STARS but Unilocal doesn’t allow this. Lost our business and everyone I know #CarlsjrCorona!!!

Food was good but the girl behind the counter was rude. She seemed irritated and didn’t make eye contact once. That is all

It would be nice if they answered there phone. Instead of just letting it ring

I love the menu. Everything from burgers to fish tacos can be found. The Mexican food is spiced well. The service is excellent. The drive through is not super fast, but it’s ok because the food is great. Employees were friendly with our group order. Thanks!

This is my favorite place to get Strawberry shake outside of a restaurant environment. $ 6 heartattack I always pass on. Simple BBQ chicken is good enough for me.

came here for four spicy chicken sandwiches and waited in line for about eight minutes. food was pretty good, a little better than normal carls jr. the service was not that good though…
