The salad bar on the buffet consisted of plain lettuce and dressings. Pizza was tasteless even when warm. They were out of beer. Yes. Out of beer. Forget this place.

Saturday and running out of pizza toppings by 1:30 in the afternoon on most likely the busiest day of the week! NOBEERORWINE they ran out of that too! Never again CEC! Got half of our order then told they didn’t have toppings for the other pizza now they are going back to make another pizza when the first one took nearly 50 mins to get. Very bad experience for a 4 year olds birthday and first time at CEC. Many games ate tokens and we’re not working and not properly marked out of order. The only good news out of this is my 4 year old is to young to have noticed this issues.

NEVER, EVERSTEPFOOTINTHISPLACE! Went here last Tuesday for lunch, my son wanted to go here so I said sure. Biggest mistake ever, as this place is greasy, dirty, and just plain beat down. I could write for days about what I seen, but I don’t have time nor care to give a record setting long Unilocal review on how bad this place is inside. The food, well I almost threw up on the table and my children as I started to eat a slice of pizza, which was very thin and basically cardboard with sauce and cheese on it, I noticed the under the pizza by the crust was sticky with a white sauce on it. After I looked a bit closer, trying to figure out what kind of sticky white sauce is on my pizza I notice a dead fly embedded in it!!! It seriously took everything I had not to up chuck it, and immediately pulled the pizza from my wife and kids. We were done. I went up to the manager, and asked WTF is going on, and showed her my pizza. She said, oh yea that’s cinnamon bun sauce, and didn’t notice the fly. So I said take a closer look, see what that black dead bug cooked into the sauce, yea it’s a big dead fly. She said sorry and refunded my money but didn’t seem to worried about it. NEVERAGAIN!!! Check out the picture of it I uploaded.

Came here to celebrate a 4YO’s birthday bash, and overall not bad. I haven’t stepped inside a CEC in forever and to be honest, I’ve avoided it because I’ve heard it can be a place where parents get into brawls! thankfully it was calm and peaceful here. the interior could use some updating for sure, and the food was as expected. Our party hosts ordered more than enough pizza for their guests so got to nibble on pepperoni and veggie pizza slices. the soda station was clean, but wish there were more juice or kid-friendly drink options. The bathrooms could use a step-stool especially since the sink is set pretty high up, making it harder for little ones to wash their hands. there’s a good variety of games for all ages. some of them were situated close together so you might bump into another parent while watching your own child play a game. When you’re done with games and ready to collect your prize, they have these ticket redeemer machines that count the tickets! Gone are the days of counting each ticket one by one! the prize selection is OK but wish there were some better candy selections or prizes for the smaller prize numbers. Most of the(less than) 30 tickets prize options were stickers or cheap plastic toys that will never be played with. Overall, not a bad place to host a kid’s party.

My kid’s love to come here. The staff is helpful, but behind the counter always seems under staffed. Also, instead of labeling a game as out of order, they just let kids put in token after token into the broken machine. Labels would definitely help families not waste their money they spent on tokens.

Madison was fantastic!!! She was our party host for my daughters 6th birthday party. We had a small issue with seating but her and the manger made sure to make it right and we had a fantastic party. Madison was fast, attentive, and focused on the kids. It made the party flow at a great pace. I would recommend Madison to anyone hosting a party. Thanks again, Madison! Your awesome!!!

We ordered an extra Lg pepperoni and the family sampler at 6pm. I finally complained at 6:55 that we were still waiting. They said the pizza was still in the oven and they were still waiting on the platter but gave me tokens for my wait. I told the kids to go play while waiting and they complained that more than 10 games were out. After another 30 mins we finally got our order and the fries in the platter were cold. Never going to this one again.

The worst chuck e cheese ever! Long wait to get in, long lines to order food, long wait to get food! Most of the games out of order or just not giving the tickets. The employees were so rude. I came here to save money instead of johns incredible, but seriously never again! Its not worth the stress!

Unilocal 100 Challenge 2016, #11 of 100 I have never been a fan of Chuck E. Cheese. It had been years since I visited a CEC. When my kids were toddlers we walked into one in Chino on a Saturday and we walked right back out to our car. If you have been on a busy day then you know what I am referring to. My kids have had this place as one of their bookmarks and I told them I would take them if they earned it. Well they earned it and it was timed to pay the piper. If you look on Unilocal, most CECs have poor ratings and there are few reviews, so it was a shot in the dark. We decided to try out the Riverside CEC. The hours showed that they opened at 10:00 am so we decided to get there as early as possible to beat the crowds. Walked in and there were only 2 other small families there. It felt nice to have a bit more intimate setting without hordes of people and kids crawling over each other to play games. Ordered the Value Deal #2 for $ 39.99, large one topping pizza, 4 soft drinks(self-serve), and 80 tokens. My daughter wanted a kid’s chicken nuggets meal, with fries for $ 4. Wife and I went with the salad bar at $ 7.50 each; I did scope out the salad bar first to make sure it at least looked edible. I was pleasantly surprised of the quality of the salad options. I was able to sneak in a slice of pizza and I thought it was cooked well. Crust was crispy but not too brittle and pizza had plenty of cheese and pepperoni. The games were okay. There were a few that did not work properly or they would take your token without giving you credit. Oh well, I was just trying to get out of there quickly because the crowd was starting to build. We were in and out within an hour. My recommendation is get there early or be ready to wait. It wasn’t crowded and the line was growing. They do sell beer there but I skipped out on it. The staff was great and very helpful. I do worry about little kids walking around alone. When I say little I mean toddler and younger. I never let my kids out of my sight. I can’t believe people send their little ones to the restroom alone. It’s just weird. That’s all I am saying. One hour of entertainment with food for the family for a cost of $ 62 is not a bad deal. I would return to this location.

Omg this place sucks! We walk in and all I noticed was the cashier running back and fourth from the counter to the front door… I’m not sure if their low staffed but it’s ridiculous! Their salad bar sucks!!! Not worth coming here. Of course the kids will have a good time up until the coins run out, and since they’re only 3 coins on the dollar, it goes pretty fast… Oh on top of that, when I sat in the sketch booth to take a picture with my kids,. I got chocolate all over the back of my pants, so I waked around looking like I shit myself… ugh don’t even get me started on the restrooms

My family and I used to come to Chuck E Cheese’s to celebrate everybody’s birthday when we were younger and it was always a blast so I was very excited to come back to celebrate my cousin and niece’s birthday. A LOT has changed — the entire set up seems to have been flipped(from the layout 5 years ago) and many of our favorite games have disappeared and replaced with more«high-tech» games such as rope-less jump rope, maze runner, virtual fishing etc. THANKFULLY skee-ball still exist and many of the newer games are fun. The food here is the same as I remember it though presentation could use a little work. Chuck should invest in some baskets for the bread sticks and wings so they aren’t just all chillin randomly on a pizza tray. Besides that, the pizza is good and I like that the pizza slices are cut into thinner slices so you are committed to eating a giant piece. Overall a good nostalgic visit.

I will NEVER return to this filthy place. Went for my sons 1st birthday a couple of days ago. Pizza is different from what it use to be. They make it all flat and taste cheap like Dominos. Whoever reads this, i recommend Johns incredible pizza over this so called pizza place any day. Its a lil pricy but you get more for your buck guaranteed. JOHNSINCREDIBLEPIZZA!!! don’t go to chucky cheese.

I will never, ever come back to this Chuck-E-Cheese. I had the worst experience there. I brought my girls to play some games, spent $ 40. When it was time to cash in our tickets, only two of the ticket counters were working. The other 4 either said full, call for help, or wouldn’t accept any tickets. I asked for someone to come help, 10min later two people started working on the machines. I got in line for one of the working machines, and when I got to the front of the line, the machine said full. I then got in the other working line, and then that machine stopped working. I asked two employees if there was ANY other way to count the tickets so we could leave and they said no?! That is very poor management if you ask me. I mean why did they wait until all of the machines were broken in the first place, but whatever. It took one hour to finally get our tickets counted in the machine. We then got in line to get our prizes… The woman who was helping us shorted my younger daughter 30 tickets and then walked away without helping my older daughter. I was outraged. She never came back and supposedly she’s one of the managers. I didn’t catch her name, but she was wearing a purple dress shirt, caucasian woman with long brown hair pulled back in a pony tail. I couldn’t believe the experience that we had coming here. I’m a full time student and wanted to take a short break from studying to do something fun with my girls and it ended up in a nightmare. I’m not at all the type of person to complain, I’m the complete opposite but this was unbelievable. I honestly will NEVER come back here, EVER again. And I’ve thrown 4 birthday parties at Chuck-E-Cheese in the past, but never again.

I usually don’t have an issue with this place but it’s Friday and it’s 6:30pm and this place is DIRTY. There should be someone constantly cleaning and taking out the trash I get it there’s kids and what not but the floors were filthy and the bathrooms were gross. The food was good and I like how they have coupons but just keep up with the cleaning please.

Visited Chuck E Cheese on McKinley many time with the grandchildren! This was the first time Chuck E actually came out without me having to complain, usually I can be there over two hours and not once see Chuck E, yesterday was a first for me! We didn’t eat so, I can’t say anything about the food! The machines were all working the kids had a blast as usual. So overall no complaints here! This location has a special buy 150 tokens for $ 30 and get a coupon worth of 500 tickets! Good deal!

I was pretty disappointed and disgusted last time I went here. Not only was the lady at the front rude, she didn’t even look at me when I was placing my order, she was Asian I think. I assumed she was a manager or supervisor because she had a different shirt on then the other employees. The extra food for the salad bar they had sitting on the counter the entire time I was there. I was just sitting in Tupperware tubs not being refrigerated or anything. We were there for hours and all the food sat there the whole time.

Granted… I know this is a kids place, which is fine… its was a lot of fun for my children…1 star for that… I had to wait in line for almost 5 minutes to buy a «large» drink cup that cost me $ 2 which was roughly 1 inch taller than the small cup! Oh but here’s the kicker… i had to wait for 5 minutes… WITHOUTANYONEINFRONTOFME!!! I guess the manager… and i know she was the manager, because it says it on her lanyard… thought it much more important to work on her computer, than take care of a customer… We were there for my nephews birthday party… the food was meh… the wings were dry… and the customer service was definitely lacking. When i told her that they only had 2 stars on Unilocal… she completely ignored me, like she didn’t even care… Have to step up your game Chuck E Cheese… I wont be back to this place… No bueno!

I have been going to this location on a regular basis for the past 6 years and received okay-ish customer service however on my last visit I received the worst customer service. We went early on a Wednesday and it took 50+ minutes to get two sandwiches and two hot dogs. Employees were bothered they needed to refill games with tickets. Manager was made aware and did nothing to correct the situation. I agree with other reviewer, the place is being run by understaffed teenagers.
