This was a typical Dominican salon that I’ve visited quite a few times. Unfortunately, I came by two weeks ago on Sat and the place was closed! No sign, no new address listed, nothing! Talk about a bummer. Good thing I wasn’t coming from afar and luckily passed another salon in the vicinity. This was bad business etiquette esp to frequent customers!

Love this place. No one does hair like the Dominicans do hair, and this place is a shining example. All of the stylists are good with any texture & length of hair– ladies march single file out of the salon with glossy, fit-​for-​tv stick-​straight hair, soft waves, or Texas prom queen curls if that’s their thing. Monica is my personal fave, although anyone will do a great job. And the value!!! A shampoo, conditioning treatment, haircut, hair set in curlers, a blow-​out, and yes, some swipes with the flat iron all for THIRTY DOLLARS. Queen’s best kept secret!!!
