My car was sideswiped and needs repairs on the side doors… I told the rep my insurance sent me to a fancy body shop that gave me a bloated estimate and wanted to see what Fix’s would be… the rep wanted to see my previous insurance estimates before even looking at my car. I told him I had a set amount of $ to work with and wanted to see if Fix was affordable for me. He gave me a song and dance about needing to see the insurance company’s estimate first because of «things they may have missed», etc. In reality, he had dollar signs in his eyes and wanted to see how much more he could milk myself and the insurance company for. Long story short, I went around the corner to an accommodating competitor and your Corona location lost out on $ 2500 because of shady customer service practices. Moral of the story, if you want an honest transaction, don’t tell them you’re working with insurance.
