Love this place. About a mile away from our house. and we always sit in the bar. Happy Hour Menu is the best. We mostly go to watch Football. I love that i’m considered an «regular» now and the servers and bartenders recognize us and always treat us well.

Amazing service! We walked in for lunch on a Busy Saturday with 20+ water polo players and parents and we were sat very quickly and the manager delivered hot fries to keep everybody happy while our order was taken. The food came out fast and the server was extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to take care of us and make us feel welcome!

back in the day, a hamburger was a hamburger. Now there is so many names for it and so many things to put on it, I am 65 years old, I have never paid 10.00 for a stupid hamburger, that tasted dry, and was not worth it. I got this as a gift card, and when its used up, I will never go back there. I think I could not get past the price. In and Out is so much better, and Carls has a hamburger for 1.50 that is to die for. Also, getting someone to come for refills is a trick, and the service was not great, So guess what? The experience was not great.

As always, great service, great food and value. Best bang for the buck in town! One of the few that the manager is out touching tables and with great humor. Special props to Daniel who is a regional trainer as well as bartender/​server.

We come to this location often, and the service is usually good. Today, the service was fine, but our burgers came out cooked wrong. They had switched the patties in our order, so my husband got medium well, and I got medium on the rare side. I cannot eat meat that red, so we alerted our server who apologized and took our meals away to be recooked.
While we were waiting a server brought some fresh, hot fries over to us. This was super nice, and we appreciated the gesture. When they brought our meals back we dug in. Mine was cooked medium well, so I was happy. My husband took a bite and realized that they added mayo and pickles, which he hates, so he had to eat his burger without a bottom bun.
The manager apologized and offered to remake his burger, but he was starving, so he said no. They took the burger off our bill and we appreciated it. We will still continue to come to this location, and I’m sure our experience will be better next time, so I will update this review.
Everyone has an off night, and this was the case here.

Well, I am pretty easy to please. But the burger I got, Kilauea, was spectacular. They ask you how you want it, and that’s the way you get it. Very tasty. I must say. And the service was haha really, no complaints here.

Been coming to Islands for years. They have great burgers but what I always make sure to get are the Cheese Fries! YUM! Not the fanciest place in the world, but a great place to get a beer and hang out with friends.

This is a review for take out. I ordered take out and I was disappointed in the food. First of all, I called to place an order and walked in 5 minutes later (they said food would be ready in 15 – 20 minutes).. I live less than 2 miles from Islands, when I got home the food was already very cold. I didn’t make any stops, I went straight home but food was still not fresh! I ordered the long board burger and the buns were extremely soggy. I had asked for my burger to be cooked well done but the meat was still very pink as you can see in the picture. The guy over the phone even repeated my order back to me and he said «well done».also I ordered a side salad and it was gross! They drowned it in ranch dressing. Wayyyy too much dressing! Can’t really tell in the pic but all I could taste was ranch. I couldn’t finish it. It was my first time trying Islands, don’t think i’d try it again.

Be careful when you order medium cooked. Their medium cooked seemed rather rare to me. I took a couple bites and didn’t finish. The waitress never asked why I didn’t eat the burger. That wasn’t very impressive customer service. Otherswise, they had good fries and shakes.

They don’t have kids eat free there but the environment was great and so was our waitress

I like the ambiance… kinda reminds me of Guppy’s in Cerritos. The burgers are fine. I feel it’s a little over-​rated. The staff are very nice and friendly.

I had a bad experience at Islands a few months back but decided to return. I had the Shorebird lunch special which I cut in half. Turns out, the chicken breast wasn’t cooked. I advised the waitress and she took it back for a new one. The manager came out and apologized. I waited while my coworkers finished eating and right as they were about to finish, my new sandwich arrived. The oddest part is she told me she would take it off the bill but when the bill arrived, it was on there… I didn’t really understand that. I never expect free stuff but they offered and I accepted but still charged me. Overall, it was a 90 minute lunch.
I didn’t go back for a long time but tried again today. The service was good as the waitress was chipper and on top of my passion tea refills. The bottomless fries were also quite good too. I got the Shorebird again which is a great sandwich.
Overall, it’s your typical chain restaurant food when it comes to lunch. They have decent bar specials so check them out after work too!

Food is alright, nothing special. Prices keep going up for very standard dishes that require no difficulty to make. They, like Chipotle, will also charge you an arm and a leg for avocado and other add ons.
On the other hand, service is usually excellent at Islands. Wait staff is friendly and comes by often. I usually see the manager too, he seems like a friendly guy.
This Islands in particular is a very popular business lunch stop, so often you’ll see a bunch of guys in suits and be very confused. Don’t worry, you’re not underdressed. This Islands just has a very convenient location by the freeway.
Overall, don’t come to be amazed by the food. But come to be amazed by the service, which is typically top notch.

We were hungry for dinner and stopped by here. We came in and we were seated quickly. The waitress took our drink order. Another came to take our order. The food came out quickly. Everyone enjoyed their food. The prices are reasonable compared to other places. The layout of this Islands restaurant is the same as all of the others I have been to. I guess the franchise wants it that way. The place was clean and the service was fast. I had a good hamburger.

Islands is islands! Great burgers but watch out for the French fries they are addicting! You can substitute them for a salad!

This is your average burger restaurant. Burgers were delicious and they have many choices to choose from. They also have chicken sandwiches, wraps and salads. My only disappointment was that the fries were way over cooked which made them super hard.
We came on a Sunday afternoon and they were pretty busy. Our server Asia was great, she kept our drinks full which is huge for me! She also was very attentive and kept coming back to the table to see if we needed anything else. Kudos to Asia for great service.
Not sure if I will be back since it was somewhat pricey just for burgers but we’ll see.

Ok, I have to give Islands props because after my last review, no fewer than THREE separate people were in contact with me about my experience, asking for feedback on what they could do better next time. They even sent me a $ 30 gift card to be used at any of their restaurants (not just this one which is about 90 miles from my house). Customer service may have been off during my visit, but they’ve made up for it since then.
