They’re tacos are awesome! I’ve eaten here when I overnight for work. This is my go to taco spot!

There are 3 maybe 4 restaurants in the area with the same name, I think they are all under different management, similar to mamas empanadas. The food here is great, I recommend the tacos, but the burritos and enchiladas are pretty good as well. I’m no expert on Mexican food, I see some people on here say the food here is awful. I really want to know where you get your Mexican food from? because the food here to me is delicious. After eating at authentic Mexican places like this, its kind of hard to go back to eating Chipotle, just not the same. But there is bad, the waitresses are kind of rude, I really just stick to picking up and delivery. There is going to be a language barrier, which is why i stick to ordering on seamless.

This is a diamond in the rough on Roosevelt. Huge portions and great pricing. If you are going to Citi, stop by here first. You won’t be disappointed.

They got my order wrong. I asked for 2 scrambled eggs with home fries, toast and sausage. They gave me 1 egg sunny side up(whites still runny), four slices of plain white bread(no butter or jelly or whatsoever) home fries(only two packets of ketchup) and poorly fried bacon. The bacon was fried not by the slice, but three slices at a time! I know it was 5:30am on July 5th morning, but if you’re open 24/7, it’s kind of expected you have decent food at any hour. They just slacked pretty hard.

The absolute worst restaurant I’ve EVER ordered from on seamless. No exaggeration, these people take rude to a new stratosphere. My entire order was wrong, literally every last item I selected was replaced with something else. The reason was due to them being out of the items. How can you be a Mexican restaurant and run out of tacos??? Seriously? Furthermore they didn’t even attempt to call me to ask if I wanted to replace the food I selected with something else. Literally not one of their employees speaks English, not a single one! I wouldn’t have mind them replacing my mango shake with Strawberry, or my vanilla tres leche with Cheese cake but to blatantly replace every single last one of my selections with something else without asking is disgraceful. Then tell the customer to «talk to Seamless» because they’re too lazy to reconcile is unforgivable. Not only am I recommending no one order from here, I’m going the extra mile to report them to all food and beverage outlets for shady business practices.

I stopped here on the way to Garden Gnome Night at Citi Field, looking to avoid the increasingly long lines and mediocre food at what was once New York’s best food stadium. Now I know there’s better one stop down, underneath the 7 train. I enjoyed the full selection of agua frescas available, a big step up from the one or two flavors available in my native Bushwick. I went with melon, sipping on the oversized Styrofoam container while deciding what to order. Journeying out so far to sample the menu means added pressure, as it is unclear when there will be a return visit. I have to pass on the tortas, quesadillas and cemitas in favor of something I’ve had just one time before — tacos arabes, the spicy rolled pieces of pork that are from Pubelo. They arrive, piquant and very hot, just a few minutes after placing the order. They require none of the leftover salsa from the free chips that arrive earlier. Despite being dry, they are very flavorful, with both the fat of the meat and dry rub seasoning making for very satisfying eating. No while some of the other reviews on the site express concerns about the price point, from my outsider’s perspective, a bill of under $ 10 for such a big meal(I could have easily brought some home if I wasn’t headed past Citi security) is more than fair. Perhaps these people could open up a concession inside the park; I’d certainly be a customer.

Well, the fact that I didn’t even see the«pending inspection» sign till we left was not a good thing. I had eaten here with my son after the Hall of Science years ago and we loved it. So I did the same with my grandsons today. Really loud music, a half dozen screens with soccer, and ugly rainbow lights ruined the atmosphere. But the tacos! Oh so good! So very worth the wait. We had an assortment, with kids you never know and we loved them all. But my favorite was the lengua-tongue was tender and flavorful.

The food is good. Tacos are great. I try the lengua torta. Which is a sandwich with tongue beef. The pozele was good is a white humeny corn soup. However they receive a 3 start because of the service. They got our order, everything was there but after that we didn’t see our waitress until the bill came. If you like good food and BAD service this is your place.

Good, fresh burritos albeit a bit on the pricey side, especially for a neighborhood like Corona. Presentation was very nice, especially with that twisted orange slice on the side with the salad. Service was a bit slow and inattentive. One waitress forgot to bring water so we had to ask another, and the place was by no means full. Overall an average, but pricey, experience

This is my go to place for Mexican food. My fav is their beef tongue tacos. Just writing about it makes my mouth water. I also love their horchata drink. Due to language barrier, I usually order from them online through grubhub however they have recently stopped taking online orders for whatever reason. Please bring back online orders and I will change this review to a 5 star.

Good food. They have fancied this place up in the last year or so. But I would say the prices have gone up too. The chimichanga was crisp and tasty, though the carnitas were a bit grissly. The service is good and the waitresses were nice.

No idea who put bad reviews on here but this is the real deal– outstanding carne asada burrito — great rice and beans and served with a great side mix — the salsa is like Mexican crack I could drink this stuff — no English spoken here but no need –if your struck at LGA a must(don’t think I would walk around here after dark) good Mexican

¡AY, PAPI!(Is that inappropriate to exclaim when you take that first bite of a burrito when you are by yourself in your LeFrak City apartment on a random Sunday night? Because if it is, then I don’t care.) I don’t know why this place doesn’t have more stars. I order this on Seamless more often than I’d like to admit.(And according to my order pattern, it seems that I always order this on Sunday nights? Hmm. Instead of going to church on Sundays, I order burritos. Real nice, JK, real nice.) Um it’s my favorite Mexican place though! I have so much love for Tortilleria Nixtamal, but now it’s always just so crowded. However, Los Tres Potrillos gives me food of such high(and much more exotic) calibre — and I don’t even have to change out of my moose pajama pants. Every time I order, I get the lengua burrito. You do not want to miss this, and you will not regret it. Tender meat melts in your mouth, full of flavor with not a single ribbon of unwanted gristly fat. The rice and beans in the burrito will make you wonder how, no matter how hard you try, you always seem to mess that up in your own kitchen. The sauce on top in the Mexican flag colors make you smile the entire time, and it’s legitimately a meal that brings you sadness when you finish it. But the best part is that BECAUSE there’s a $ 20 delivery minimum, oh, you’re NOT done yet! Did someone say chips and homemade salsa? The kind of chips that make the paper bag clear because of all of the grease? Oh yes yes. And the HOT salsa that I HOARDINMYFRIDGE for my omelets because they always give me ANENTIRECUP of it? And the nopales just for the hell of it? How they ever-so-subtly crunch, despite the fact that they were grilled into submission in the kitchen of this magical place? I’m not going here in person. I don’t want to ruin it. I want to keep up the Wizard of Oz mystique. All I care is that I place the order and twenty-five minutes later I have the feeling that I’m not in Corona anymore.

I’m so so happy to have been introduced to this place! It’s not my usual neighborhood but thanks to these tacos, I hope to frequent the area more often. The tacos are $ 2.50 per and are a complete steal. I get pretty full from 2 since they give you chips and salsa as soon as you’re seated. There are a few TVs and too many decorations and an abundance of color and light but it’s great… cause the tacos are great. I’ve tried their burritos as well, which are quite sizeable and come with a salad(full of avocados!) — about $ 8-$ 10, also worth it. The only bummer was that they do not have fish tacos… but that’s okay — we’re cool. Side note: there is also a full bar… ;)

I’ve had food from this place three times. The first two times were great, a little pricey for Queens but I loved it. The third time I went(yesterday) I got a beef burrito with neither beans nor guacamole. My friend’s tacos came with nothing but cilantro and her selected meats. The waitress had no explanation for any of this when I asked her about the omissions. I had the menu out to make sure that they weren’t just options I had forgotten to get. She just kept shaking her head and said they didn’t have guacamole and that I’d have to ask the chef why there were no beans. No offer to ask him herself. This might have been because the first two times I went with brown friends, Ecuadorian the first and Lebanese the second. The third time I took my asian girlfriend. I honestly hope this wasn’t the reason but either way the waitress sucked when questioned about the state of my burrito and I was not offered any fixes, compensation, etc. This kind of bullshit is unacceptable in NYC. Forget these guys. Plenty of other options in the area.

I was looking for a place to have lunch and when I saw Los 3 Potrillos I thought it’s a small Mexican cafeteria. Surprisingly it was much better and tastier than it seemed to me at first. Looks like this place had good times in a past. There is a bar and nice alcohol choice in a really beautiful menu but they have no alcohol license now. There was nobody on Saturday noon so looks like something spoiled the reputation of this restaurant. The staff was very nice and a food was really good so I can’t complain as other Unilocalers at this page. My mark is 4 because they didn’t take my cards and offered to use ATM inside like chip groceries usually do. Hope Los 3 Potrillos will restore their reputation soon.

First time in this restaurant and it will NOT be my last! The restaurant a typical Mexican restaurant, nice place with friendly service. The waitress spoke very little English, but know enough to get your order right. The food was AMAZING! I had the spicy pork chimichanga and a spicy pork sausage. The chimichanga was HUGE! All these years I’ve eaten at tex-mex spots depriving my self of a real chimichanga. It was filled with a spicy pork, melted cheese, rice, onions and peppers, it was soo good. The spicy sausage pork had a lot of meat in it and it was good as well. I can’t wait to come back here.

4am going to the airport, hungry and in need of quick delicious mexican tacos. the place is a hole in the wall and at 4am only one guy manning the crowds that come out of the clubs to eat. only about 5 bar stools and limited drinks. tacos and quesadillas are great, and will want to wanna make you come back for more. *sometimes drunk patrons show up and make your moment there not a pleasant one.

2 Modelos, a steak burrito, nice side of salad, and a free bowl of crispy thick tortilla chips with some very tasty salsa for $ 20. That’s a pregame I can appreciate! After finding free parking for the game, you are immersed in the rich Latin American cultures of Mexico, Equador and other countries all sampling their cuisines, nightclubs, and businesses. From street vendors with tables, food carts, and stores, competition is growing, and this restaurant I visited seemed like they knew they had to step up their game. I was very happy and satisfied with my meal here, and will love to return for another pregame dinner.

This restaurant is located in a very Mexican populated neighboorhood with lots of Mexican restaurant options. However, I think this is the BEST. I’ve been going here for atleast 5 years. Everything I’ve tried taste good. My favorite dish is Camarones a la Mexicana, which is Mexican Style Shrimps which comes with Salad and Rice. The portions are pretty big here, so I doubt you’ll leave hungry. Also, they have expanded the menu since I first started coming here. They added Italian dishes, which I wont bother try because it defeats the purpose of going to a Mexican restaurant. Everytime I take my son, he ALWAYS orders a Burger, and I must say, this place has the BEST French Fries I’ve EVER tried. The drinks are good too. Pretty stong.
