I absolutely love Kate! I have had bad experiences in the past with other salons, and Kate has done my highlights twice now, and both times, my hair has turned out beautiful! Kate recommended that we only do partial highlights on top, and she was right 100%. I even went and bought a Groupon for my mother-​in-​law to try her.

SERIOUSLY, FIRST IMPRESSION IS KEY. For me to call in and ask questions on ideas I want done on my hair and for the stuck up lady on the phone to give me attitude, left a terrible taste in my mouth. ADVICE GUYS: go to a place that will take the time with you on the phone and not give an attitude.

Kate is awesome! Super accommodating and relaxing environment with top notch hospitality. Came in for a cut, had a beer (complimentary) and loved the experience. Highly recommended! I also support local business and this place needs to stay with owners like this.

I’m so glad this Groupon turned into a new stylist! Kate is a gem, as real and hardworking as they get. She’ll go out of her way to meet your expectations and has fun doing it! I also LOVE that she doesn’t double book her time (Doing haircuts while your waiting for your color to finish). She made me feel important and that speaks volumes. Thanks Kate!

Being someone who is normally very frugal, I used to dye my hair at home with those box colors. I would generally get a haircut about every six months. One day, I came across Lovely Locks on a groupon and decided to get my hair cut and dyed by a professional because it was such a good deal. The person my appointment was scheduled with had a family emergency, so Kate gladly made room in her schedule for me. The color was amazing and the customer service was awesome. Now, I see Kate every two months to get a touch up and a cut. I’m so happy I found a salon that has such good prices and good service!

Was sent to Kate from a friend and I couldn’t be any more happier with my experience. I showed Kate a picture of the color I wanted and she gave me exactly just that. I hate when I go to a hair salon and I show them a picture and they sit there and talk me into something other than what I want. But at Lovely Locks hair studio, I was able to communicate easily for what I want and I received what I wanted exactly! I’ve been to lots of hair salons in the corona area and I must say I think I’ve found the best salon experience. From the moment you walk in, I was provided excellent customer service as well as enjoying an awesome atmosphere while getting my hair done!

I had let my hair go far too long and after a bad experience at another salon, found Lovely Locks through Groupon and decided the deal was worth giving them a try. Lovely Locks is a small salon — two «stations» but very cute décor and nice atmosphere. The Groupon was for a color, cut and style and my appointment was with Stephanie. Both Kate and Stephanie are very friendly — great personalities. You can tell they are very knowledgeable and skilled. Stephanie cut and styled my hair exactly as I described and despite my stubborn white/​grey patches of hair — she did a terrific color job. My hair looks so good now! Thanks Stephanie!

Horrible horrible customer service. I had scheduled an appointment online through their system and received a confirmation. I show up, inform Kate of the scheduled appointment and says, I don’t have you in my system. I showed her the confirmation, and all she said was «systems tend to have glitches» really?! She did not offer me a later appt, or asked if I would be able to wait… no apology offered at all for her system failure. That was just bad customer service. .smh does not even deserve a one star but was forced to pick in order to post

I found Lovely Locks through Groupon, I got a great deal for full color, cut and style but the great service and Kate’s expertise is what has made me return.
I’m a natural brunette but lately had been concerned about my grays and having to retouch every 2 weeks. I walked into the salon today with several pictures of what I though would be the solution and thank goodness Kate sat down with me and gave me a few suggestions that would work for my natural hair color and age! I ended up going on a different direction than what I had in mind and couldn’t be happier with the result! I absolutely love my highlights! Kate you are the best!

Kate is simply AWESOME! She did a color correction that another salon didn’t achieve that was long overdue. She’s VERY knowledgeable & knows her products well. I HIGHLY recommend Kate & her staff. Her salon is very welcoming & relaxed environment. Kate is my go to gal for now on & will refer her to all my friends. I can’t say enough about Kate other than immediately after having my hair color & cut done I received 3 awesome compliments after leaving her salon. Ya won’t be disappointed :)

Let me start out by saying that I’ve had Brazilian blowouts before, but my girl started slacking. So, I decided to find someone new. And I’m so glad I came here. Kate is amazing! She’s so sweet and honest (that’s huge for me). And my hair is amazing. Seriously night and day. She told me things i didn’t even know I should be doing to upkeep my blowout. I will definitely be going back to get my hair done with Kate again! I super recommend trying this place out.

This review is long overdue. I’ve been a client of Kate’s since her first location in Corona and found her through one of the many specials she does for first time clients not to mention now with repeat customers. She always, always takes her time; she makes sure you are satisfied with your results. That is why, in my opinion, her clients come back and her specialty is the blowout. She does quality work and doesn’t rip you off. Her suite at Sola is spacious and clean; she has everything a salon would offer without all of the chatter of a busy salon. With my unruly hair, she is my go-​to. Thank you for making us feel beautiful again and again.

I came here for the first time today and Kate did my hair. She is super cool, down to earth, funny. The salon itself is small but oh so cute. I love the way they decorated the place and how you can see everything they are doing right there in front of you. I am naturally dark but have a full weave of bleach blonde highlights. My hair is hard to match up and I am very picky. I can honestly say Kate took her time and was able to achieve the exact look I was going for. She is very reasonable on the pricing and overall cares about the quality of work. I got a cut and style as well and I was happy with everything. I will be coming back and referring friends as well!

I would have liked to give 5 stars but after booking an appointment and going to the salon no one showed up!? Hows that for business and what an impression on a first time, and usually very loyal customer who’s new to Corona area.
Watch out! You my be stuck sitting in traffic for a non existing appointment!

Found Kate via Amazon Local, she did my color and cut today and I’m very happy with the results.
Just a little note, if you go in with the coupon be sure to ask about additional charges, I wasn’t told when I made my appointment there would be an additional charge for long hair. So I had to pay an additional $ 30 over the $ 67 coupon.

Let’s face it: dating in LA is hard enough as it is. I’m consistently told on first dates that my hair is one of my best features. This wasn’t always the case. I think that speaks volumes for my stylist. Kate gave me a cut, color, Brazilian blowout, and extensions. Thanks Kate for always making me more beautiful. Lovely Locks is top notch.
