I intially came out to corona to try a differant mariscos place but it was way too packed. So I searched for ones near by and this one popped up. I thought«hey how bad could it be?» I got there and waited to be seated and waited and waited. Nobody even botherd to look my way and ask how many in my party. So I took it upon myself and sat down with my party. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and my sister a mixta tostada. When the food arrived, my shrimp cocktail was warm and tasted like soup. Shrimp cocktails are supposed to be cold, my sisters mixta tostada was all jiva and one shrimp. Thats not a mixta tostada, I cant even get started on the service. We basically were tended to once and thats it. I never seen the waitress the rest of our visit. I will never come back to this place. Ever!!!

I placed an order to go and told them I needed it by 12 and I got there right at 12 and my order was hot and ready to go. The waitress that helped me was helpful and friendly, reading reviews before had me thinking when I walk in they were just going to be on there phones or just ignore me. The langostinos were delicious and I wanted more. The ceviche de pescado was fresh and full of flavor. The empanadas couldn’t have been any better. The chips and salsa were made in house and to die for. I will definitely be back.

We walked into Mariscos Las Islas, lured by the picture of Vicente Fernandez in the window, almost guaranteeing we’d have an authentic Mexican dining experience. The décor is kitschy but comfortable, and we felt right at home. The jukebox was blasting the Pokemon theme, but we didn’t mind. I ordered the carne asada platter and hubby had the chicken/steak fajitas. We were hungry and the salsa was delicious, so we almost finished the chips-then, I regretted it when my food came. The beans were very, very good-flavorful and of a nice consistency. I liked the rice too, but the carne asada was the best! Overall, the best Mexican restaurant food I’ve had in a long time. Hubby enjoyed his fajitas, too. We both walked away with at least one more meal’s worth. Wish we lived closer!

Came here on lunch, as usual looking for some good mariscos and a good michelada. At first walking in was a little worried, the place did not smell to fresh, for being a seafood spot. Sat Down got chips and salsa, ordered our micheladas, they where really good. Ordered a campuchana, looked good, taste wasn’t so good, needed salt, alotta hot sauce and didn’t taste to fresh either. Still had a fishy taste, which usually good fresh seafood does not. Overall good service, good micheladas, and food was ok.

Love this lil gem of a marisco place on 6th st! Ceviche de pescado has my heart! Longostinos & micheladas are perfect! Just a warning the ceviche de camaron is really raw! I mean like gray, just de shelled, shrimp raw! I’m a girl that likes her ceviche shrimp to be cooked in lime juice for hours. But if you don’t mind that, by all means! Love to people watch here as well! Lol! :)

To go order… I recommend the agua chiles good taste and they remove the tail on the shrimp it’s very clean and they are very good when it comes to giving all necessary things to go. The shrimp tostada is very well served but we weren’t fans of the cucaracha shrimp it’s over cooked and the taste didn’t seem that great. It’s definitely good for the basics. The price is good and we’ll served.

Best Michelada in town! The Ceviche de camaron tostada is really good. Try the fish taco with a tostada and the Michelada all under $ 20. The location looks pretty sketchy but one of the best seafood restaurants in the dump that’s Corona.

Never will I be coming back. At first everything was fine, we were seated received chips and salsa and our drinks. Well about 15 minutes in waiting for food we wanted more chips yet no one had checked on us since then. when we actually got our food it had like no flavor!!! The shrimp was so plain. Tortillas tasted reheated. We needed refills and when I looked over to see where my waitress was, she was sitting down scrolling on her phone. I had to call her attention for refills. Lastly we were waitin about 10 minutes for our check and never got it. The only 2 waitresses there were both scrolling on their phones!!! I had to walk over and pay there. Of course I did not leave a tip & I will never EVER be coming back. The food I could of got over but their service is the main reason this experience was so horrible!!!

Great atmosphere! Food was absolutely delicious and the micheladas are the best! Our waitress sucked unfortunately. She hardly came to our table and took forever just to get out order. I did ask for more chips and she forgot so I ended up asking a bus boy almost 10 min later. However it may have just been our particular waitress because my friend that was with me had been there multiple times and she said service is never that bad and that the waitress we had looked new. Either way I would still come back cuz the banda was great!

Food lacked flavor. Tortillas were heated in what tasted like old oil. Will not be returning. Remodeled apparently, but has a public restroom smell as you walked in.

This place is okay — On Sunday afternoons they have a live singer which is pretty entertaining because he is really good and very funny! The servers are very nice-just kind of slow — we waited a few minutes at the door before I had to flag down a waitress to be seated… they should probably hire more servers. What I ordered: 2 fish ceviche tostadas and a margarita. The ceviche is chopped very fine(some ppl like this-I like bigger chunks) I was STUFFED with two tostadas-the portions are huge! I had to add lemon because it wasn’t «lemony» enough. The margarita… I seriously am convinced that there was NO tequila in it. I was pretty upset. It was way too sugary-I think the waitress thought I was underage because I look pretty young and when I ordered my drink she looked at me funny and stared at my id. *ugh* Maybe that’s why she added a little bit if ANY alcohol— I ended up not even drinking it. The bathroom was dirty and there is only ONE stall and it is SO tiny!!! There was toilet paper on the floor with — dare I say it?(coughPOOPcough). Maybe part of the reason they were graded a «B»??? Overall would I come back? Maybe not for ceviche tostadas(my favorite Mexican dish) and not for the margarita’s-but definitely for the entertainment on Sundays. The search continues for a good ceviche place in the Inland Empire *sigh*
