Took my boyfriend here for his birthday yesterday and had the best shooting experience ever! The best part was– birthday get to go in for free! $ 30 saved! The entrance fee is $ 30. You can bring your own guns and amos or you can rent/buy theirs. The entrance fee is alil hefty compared to other shooting range places where they charges you about $ 10-$ 15. But it was totally worth it. This place seems pretty chilled. You don’t have to wear a goggle as long as you have a pair of sunglass or something to protect your eyes. The shooting range was pretty big– It separated into few sections: training station, the regular field, and the shooting gallery. Since the regular shooting field was full(the wait was about 2 hours+), so we decided to go to the shooting gallery. The shooting gallery is mainly for beginners and you have to share the base with other people whereas the regular field you get to have your own private base. We both didn’t care much as long as we get to shot some guns! When we arrived at the Shooting Gallery, Mike approached us. He was the instructor for this station. He explained to us the type of guns available and the different amo size. since I’m still a rookie(this was my second time at a shooting range), so I started with the 5 mm amos and handgun. My BF tried the 9 mm Amos with handguns. Then he upgraded to a AR15 Rifle. Mike was very knowledgable and friendly. He showed me how to hold the gun and shoot properly. Altho this was my second time at the range, but first time at an outdoor. I was still pretty nervous. But after a few attempts, I nailed it! My BF over there shooting rifles and having a blast. I also tried the AR15. That gun was pretty badass! Kinda scary but so much fun. My BF been to a few different shooting range before but he told me this was the best experienced he had so far. I’m very glad to hear that. :) Even thought the entrance fee was a bit pricey, but it was totally worth it. I rather be in a friendly environment and less crowded range, than a cheap poor service range. We would definitely come back! Tips: you should bring your own amos if you can. It gets pricey if you want to shoot longer. The 9 mm box of 50 cost ~$ 20 – 25. The AR15 box of 20 was $ 20 and the 5 mm box of 50 was $ 20.

Originally when my husband and I went here«back in the days» when NO one knew too much about this place, we would frequent it way more based on availability and allowing us to essentially do what we want and not worrying about it being crowded since we had a red key(paid for targets for clays) and just being able to access to their rifle range. Also they would let us borrow shot guns if we have the ammo without signing anything because they have that trust. Now there’s just way to many rules and standards because people are starting to catch on with this amazing place! And now they charge for renting their shot guns :(Don’t get me wrong, the folks who run this place are great! If you come in the morning, they have coffee and donuts for guests. This place is still a cheaper option when you want to get your shooting on, more free range since you’re not just stuck being inside of an indoor gun range. So give this place a try if you want something a little non-constricting area wise! –Last visit was sometime towards the end of summer, I brought my friend with me, my husband and my brother in law, that wait was a little too long but that’s demand for you. We had to wait in the car in a cue till the area was ready till we could drive over to our section. This was after we waited in another line to sign papers and pay at their main office. Still a fun day regardless shooting the hubby’s new hand gun!
