I had to buy a suit for a friends that was much looser fitting than I’d like. I brought it to the tailer and told him I wanted a more modern slim fitting look. I couldn’t have been happier with how it came back. They did and excellent job, I won’t bring my dress cloths to anyone else.

Apparently there are new owners still using Mimi’s reputation to try to keep their customers. These people ARENOTTAILORS. I wish I had read the reviews on Google before I took my beautiful blouse to them for hemming and a few other alterations. The blouse was not done correctly the first time I went to pick it up and they promised to have it corrected by the next day because I needed it to wear to my niece’s wedding that weekend. By the time they got done with my expensive blouse, one sleeve was longer than the other and the hem was over an inch shorter on one side than the other. There was no way to wear this blouse and they were unapologetic and still expected me to pay for the alterations. It was a TERRIBLE experience with these people. They did ultimately reimburse me for the blouse so that I wouldn’t take them to Small Claims Court. IFYOUVALUEYOURCLOTHES, PLEASETAKETHEMSOMEWHEREELSEFORALTERATIONS. Hate to post negative reviews but here it is: I took in several pairs of pants to be altered and 2 were wrong. I wore the same shoes when being measured– but one pair of pants was quite a bit longer than the other. Now I need taller shoes to wear those pants. The 3rd pair had 2 different lengths on the legs. Only about ¼” — but I take them to a tailor to get them perfect. Otherwise I’d use stitch-witchery.
